hi!i am thinking of buying this phone and i would to ask some questions to those who already have it:-does battery life last at least three days?(with an average use),-how many skins-themes does it have?-also I've read somewhere that mp3 songs, when used as ring tones, don't sound loud enough so that one can hear them.is this true?thank you very much!:)

To the person who asked about the plain ringtone there is 1 called "basic tone" its done with chimes, but it still goes ring ring!!! Hope this helps.

There are ringtones that can be moved and played from Memory card. Unlike other phones d900i, does not share phone and card memory. Hence you will need to transfer and MP3 from mem card to phone memory andset it as ringtone.

I think this is a fantastic little phone. My last 2 phones have been the sony ericsson k800i and w850i. I lost my k800i, and i was disappointed with the w850, so i decided to buy this purely for the price (£90!). In terms of the camera, the k800 has a very slightly better 3.2mp camera than the samsung, however, that camera is outstanding, the camera on the d900i is still excellent!!!! As for music quality, it doesnt match the walkman phones, however, compared to other brand phones, the d900i plays music better in terms of loudness. The mp3 player software is a bit poor though (the way you look through your tracks etc). In terms of working as a phone, it beats the previous sony ericssons hands down. The keypad is comfortable, the menu navigation is quick, texting is fast. The main difference between the d900 and d900i is the fm radio, and what an fm radio! That is really very loud (shame music playback isnt so loud though). All in all, i highly recommend the Samsung d900i, it such a nice light, thin good looking phone!

yeah jst like DJ im puzzled too... i have the 6233 and i have been looking at buying the D900i but everyone tells me to keep the 6233... even the sales person said so... help me.. even with the 3 meg auto focus camera... help please..

this phone is actually pretty good, maybe the downside of it , is you cant automatically save photos you taken or video directly to the external memory and have to transfer it. But anyways thats not much of a hassle! Its got an excellent camera phone! one of the best i've owned. Its got alot of great features , very simple stylish phone . maybe samsung needs to enhance their battery life and also not make a default message tone. but other than that! very good phone! i absolutely love it!
