Samsung suspends latest S10 software update due to stability issues
Last week Samsung issued out a software patch for its S10 lineup, which aimed to bring camera improvements alongside the May security patch. After the rollout, several users noticed bugs in third-party apps like Twitter which would freeze and render the phones unresponsive. Other S10 owners reported slowdowns and unresponsiveness with the fingerprint sensor. After the negative feedback, Samsung decided to pull out the update and reseed it when it fixes the issues.
The XXU1ASE5 update brought improvements to the Night mode with noise reduction, longer shutter speeds and the option to use the ultra wide sensor. Another major addition was the ability to shoot with the telephoto lens in Live Focus mode. Those who have yet to update their firmware are better off waiting for the next release which should come soon.
