My Android is playing up so got this cheap phone as a short term replacement. But for some reason can not send text messages can make calls - i must of messed up settings as sent a text first night i got ir now says error.
Any ideas why i can not text - thought this be so simple and stuck unable to text

My phone keeps turning itself off when closed ... any ideas on how to stop this happening
it seemed to start doing this when i let the battery run out completly, once it was re-charged again it started doing this??)

I have a Samsung E1190. I have one regular caller who cannot get her sms through to me. It seems I have inadvertently blocked this caller, don't know how? How to unblock a caller sending sms msg please?

if you want to use it wiht others you have to unlock it, maybe in a phoneshop or cellphone technician

reply to cathy my phone went the same way at lunch on the 23rd. the symbol appears to be a magnifying glass and i think the display digits are bigger when you type in a number.i checked all the phone security settings and they are all unblocked.i put in another sim and the magnifying symbol disappeared and the phone got a signal (3bars).i put the old sim back and loose signal again. i downloaded the manual from this web page and it doesn't mention this symbol. the problem appears to be in the sim. but i dont know what it is .

I have this phone and it is great but today I have found i am unable to receive or make calls and it is going straight to voicemail if someone calls me and there is a little icon like a magnifying glass up the top left of the screen. I have no idea what has gone wrong....any ideas

i replaced my phone with this model at the suggestion of the ORANGE boutique clerk in Dijon. He told me my old phone and sim could no longer work when I travelled to USA. i was in the USA two weeks ago with this phone: NO SERVICE. After a long long time with ORANGE customer service in Lebanaon, I was told this phone is only 2 band and I need 3 band to use the service I have in the USA. Is this correct?

I bought this phone 2 weeks ago, but when someone call me I can't answer the call, I tried to change the option to answer flip or any key answer, but still nothing happens!! When I call someone the call ends at 00:33 seconds exactly!! Any feedback??
