my phone has been reset when i am opening sms and receiving a messege to answering machine. in last i miss the call number. nothing recorded....pls help tanx

Very straightforward to use and good design. However, voice distortion lets it down somewhat. If the quality of the voice were better, this would be the perfect easy-to-use phone. As it is, conversation can sometimes be almost unintelligible.

hi i heard samsung phones are the only brand that has a feature that allows you to block a text from a certain phone number eg you put in phone number you want blocked and it does it.
is that true?
i had a samsung many years ago that did that but cant remember what model that was.
can anyone tell me if the samsung e1190 does that?

Just bought one today :) It's sooooo... cheap (25€) - the price says it all... don't expect much at all... the display is really bad (but readable) VOICE clarity compensates for all -really good!, good talk-time also, good SAR also... so good for a 3rd phone or for a spare phone (for beach activities and whatever)... I have an Xperia X10 mini (for about 8 months) and I love it, What's good for this phone is that you can password all sms and phonebook, also won't cry if you lose it (it has mobileTracker :) also you won't feel it in your pocket :)
-yes you can save your old SIM contacts in the phone, from phonebook options
-yes you can switch from loudspeaker to normal by pressing OK button :)
-I'm not sure if the menu keys will EVER lighten up :))
funny phone, worths buying for the low price and all I said above :D Cheers!

I a... moreyes! call length is not handset dependant. depending on what country you are in; there are different codes. call your service provider to get it extended! they can tell you the correct numerical code or change the settings on your account! go! do it now!

Gery, 24 Oct 2011Is it normal that the navigation buttons (all buttons above... morehi, it is normal that the keys in question do not light up.this is to save battery life..also going by the user manual you cannot change loud speaker to normal unless someone knows a secret way of changing it. there is nothing in the user manual...
