Anonymous, 18 Jan 2011What about the keypads? Are they nice and comfortable to us... moreother than the central button of the 4 way navigation key being small for my thumb! (in many samsung models as well, not just this one) the keypad is fine for me.
go to a mobile shop and hold it in your hands, what you are asking is of great personal variation, what is fine for me may be is not acceptable for you and vice versa.

interestingly you can unmute the ringing of the mutted call by pressing up!

TRUTH, 17 Jan 2011The point is call on second sim if gets diverted to first s... moreif you set the diverts when off from one sim to the other, therefore:
if you are having a voice call on sim 1
and someone calls you on sim 2 ---> phone sends to network it is off, then the network diverts this call to sim 1
so while you are having a call on sim 1, you will get a call waiting from sim 2 (the diverted call)
you would not know who is calling on sim 2 (the call waiting will show your sim 2 number), but you hence knew there is a call on sim 2
ofcourse you can choose to answer the divert (then you do not miss that call, but you pay for the divert cost).
you also asked:
can the caller on the second sim be identified?
well, yes! you can press on the green button and you will here him talking! (just kidding)
with this method you can not know who is calling when you get a call waiting (mentioned that earlier), however, if your network supports that, you can get an sms notification on sim 2 of who has been trying to call you when finish the call on sim 1 (this could be a paid service, however some provide it for free) (one of my two sims in the phone provide this for free, but if it was this sim that is on, then i would not know)

you have one hour of continous voice recording
and you can record from FM radio as well (you do not need a handset attached to listen to the radio btw)

According to specification this mobile phone has bluetooth and speakerphone (loudspeaker).
This means, that it should be possible to record the voice with a voice recorder if the phone is switched to loudspeaker mode.
Or if the built in speakerphone is not good enough, then a hands free kit with bluetooth, which has loudspeaker can be ordered in addition.

Apart from this, this phone is dual stand by. if u are busy on one sim other number will show switched off or not reachable, it is adefault feature of this handset.

2. when u on call another call on another sim will know that u r busy so u can make a divert if busy to another sim to receive a call on waiting.

Hi,
I purchased this mobile 2 days back. M using one vodafone no and another bsnl no. My question is just that when m trying to go for call divert option i.e sim 2 to sim 1(or any other number) when sim 2 is busy and vice versa it is showing "Not allowed" error. If someone can please help me in this regards, I will be very grateful to him/her

2. While on call on one sim, if call to the second sim will it give a message "Switched off" or "Out of coverage area"?
off (you will notice that the signal for the idle sim disappears from the display when the other sim is in a call)
regarding the third q, i don't have an experience regarding that, i'm not in need to install anything on it, it does what i bought it for as it is! but anyways if u want multitasking you should consider a more higher end phone.
