I have few doubts. Please help me with this
1. If i receive a call will it show to which sim it has received? (like SIM1 call..)
2. While on call on one sim, if call to the second sim will it give a message "Switched off" or "Out of coverage area"?
3. Is it possible to minimize the installed applications in background and run some other applications on this phone?

[deleted post]Excellent clarification him,
i just wanted to point out a trick that was reported earlier in this forum to overcome the closed sim when you recieve calls on the other one,
you can simply set the sims to divert on each other when closed,
so if you are using one sim, you get call waiting from the other telling you there is a an incoming call (however you wouldn't know who, as the caller id will show that of the second sim)

all features are cleared considering its price range, but one:
SQCIF (128x160) resolution screen shall be QCIF even if on 1.8" screen.

i think what you are facing is not a problem, we will have to settle that this is the phone limit.
try recording to the phone memory it will be 1 minute only (even if you have free memory for more than that)
try recording with the lower resolution and again you will have a maximum of 1 minute again.
i think samsung should have noted this in the manual.
still i find it a great phone for a great price tag.

Sourav, 10 Jan 2011the video recording duration is of maximum 1 minute......I ... moreif you get something even for free you would expect it to perform as it should, if there is a camera you should be able to take photos, if there is a radio then you should be able to listen to it so i totally disagree with you on the price thing as it is not related to price, it is related to features that are announced and should work the way they are announced.
secondly i agree with you, if someone wants a camera phone, they should spend more and get one, but again this is not the case here, we are not complaining for example that the quality of the taken videos are not good, because we know its a low resolution cheap camera, i.e. we understand what is this phone should be capable of.
btw this is not my primary phone, i proudly own a wave (s8500) from its first 3 days in my country. i needed a home phone and was looking for a long standby time so i chose this one, and i'm totally happy with it, its my second sammy phone after 11 years of nokia. if i knew that samsung phones were that good at such an affordable price i doubt that i would have stayed with nokia that long!

Recording is Normal,
Resolution is 160x120,
White balance is Auto,
Effects is None.
Storage is Memory card
Still videos record only for 1 minute, I really don't understand why. I have tried several ways to adjust but no luck. Just wanted to know whether there's a way out and whether its for all the handsets or is it only mine which is misbehaving. Thanks for your responses. Thanks again.
