u can change its ringtones u just have to copy that tone to phone memory...and u can set any tune..

lam so happy about the phone,u guys should keep it up.l love all the samsung products, l used they television,refregrator and phone. lam proud of samsung.love u guys.

Hey, I currently have this phone and it is a good phone, but you cannot have music as message tones and you cannot do other things while listening to music.
I thought I would say that because those are the two tihngs that really bug me about this phone.

when recording any conversation..when finished.. where can you go back and re listen to those conversations..because ive recorded a lot of conversations back i have trouble looking for them.
can anyone help me out??

then go to h/w test
then audio settings
then on 13 option iis normal2
then rx volume
then enter anything b/w 2500 to 3000 on level 14 save it.there u go

jimmy, about voice recording, maximum 1 hour.
and about the ringtone volume;
1- the default ringtones are loud enough
2- any other mp3 song depends on its bitrate and quality..
for both, it starts low for 1 or 2 seconds, and then become louder, and you can't change this.. (so a missed call can't always be heard)
and one more thing, when it's ringing, it cannot be muted by one click, you have to lower the volume step by step (7 steps (clicks) to mute)
when a new message received, you have the option to repeat the alert every 1 or 2 minutes until you read it.

i have this phone.. and i love it.. i have a red one!
i'm using a 1GB memory.. and it's faster than any other phone.. i can browse the memory card (which is 95% full) without waiting for it to load (no waiting at all, not even a second)
sadly, the messages ringtone cannot be customized..
it record voices.. and record also any conversation.. while talking, press options, and go to "conv. record"

you can program the phone not to lock when you slide it down. it is in the phone settings section. i love this phone, but hate how you have to find songs and what not when you have a memory card and some one sends you stuff. other than that great phone!!! Jess xoxo

the battery life is pathetic..only saving grace...in india you get 1 GB card free.. so value for money.. Net Net a cheap lifestyle phone

sad to say the message ringtone cannot be cuztomized.....can anyone tell me if they have tried cutomizing their message ringtone???
can you play music and videos if the file was saved from Memory Card????

this mobile is looking very nice but the prblm is in battrey. but im not aware of that becoz compair to other mobiles it having good features. so im very happy to say this mobile is good
