I bought this phone newly and so far it seems to be good.
Can you please tell me how to use the speaker facility in this phone ?

I am using the phone for the past 3 months its grt to use and the only problem is tat do we hav minimising option in the media player...... pls if so suggest fast

to jen, no worries glad to help. With the screen being on when charging, i dont think you can switch that off. It is very bright but ive heard that once the battery is completely charged and you see that it is, you should take it off immediantly so the battery wont waste anymore. I also want to try to see if there is an option to turn the screen off but i dont think there is

my dad had bought me this phone across the ocean and evn thought its not in my possession yet...i can already tell im going to love this phone...and evn though it will be my first phone ive come across alot of other more high-end phones to kno tht this phone is super koolio...
this is to evrybody whining and crying about little things on the phone such as the battery life and display and camera....unless ur a busy person and dont have time to charge ur phone at night...theres no reason y ur battery shuld be low or unless ur using the mp3 all day...but if u want a better battery life and display...i wuld recommend a Nokia frm this century....and if u want a better camera than get a Sony Ericsson....dont gripe about the phone after uve bought it if u havent read the specs yet...yea there might be sum corporation malfunctions and glitches...jus go exchange the phone is tht so hard?
well imma come back in a few days to give my full review of this mobile handset

biggest problem with this phone is software glitches - like when someone calls me, it rings but takes about 5 secs before the display shows who us calling, which is REALLY annoying!! also slow to respond when you hang up from a call, and sometimes screen seems to freeze, especially when using loudspeaker. maybe this just means my phone is broken?! had it less than 6 months and it has always been like this.

just one more thing, is there a way to charge the phone without it having the light on? or is it an automatic function that cant be turned off?

to jen, my e250 slides up and down well with no hitches so maybe there is something wrong with yours. Have a look if you can see, maybe something is stuck there or maybe the model wasnt done right and plastic might be grooving out where it slides. If it bothers you then maybe try to get a replacement.

hai,just wanna inquire if the font type of samsung e250 be change into a smaller font? i found the normal font too big....please advise if there is a features regarding in how i will change the size in writing a text...thanks a lot.

Nice design,nice.and easy menu but the batery is very poor...too bat.aniway i like it.

I have plans to buy this Phone.My Usage will be very low like I use to make calls three to four times a day and also receiving is same like that and my average talk time will be maximum 5-10 minutes..Can I go for this Phone..I am very much interested in listening to music can I use FM for 3 three hours per day..
Please advice any body whether this phone is suitable for me or do I need to go for a different Phone?
When I shoot a picture and store it in camera and assoiate a name to that picture and when I get a call from that person..Will I able to see the picture being flashed in this E250 Model? Else which model will work like that..Please advise

hello, i just purchased this phone today and the slider is not very smooth? when i attempt to close it, it has a little hitch (feels like its going over a little bump inside) before closing. is this normal? not sure whether i should take it back to where i got it from.

I paired this phone with HBH-DS970, the sound for mp3 files and call clarity is awesome, much better than SEP990i for which i had originally bought the headset.
External speaker is of average quality.

Yea, all samsungs are pretty much the same. They have the same way of sms'ing, menu and options. Ive had two samsungs and alot of people here dont seem to like this phone but i really like this phone. Battery is great for me. I dont make many calls, i dont sms alot and i dont play games or listen to music or anything like that. Its mainly for emergencies and i just use general functions. It still has full battery life after three days so far and my previous samsung lasted 8 days
