i found out that brightness settings are set to maximum...
i just set it to middle, then dim & off lights @ 5 & 10 sec respectively...keypad lights @ night settings only...still observing right now...if batt will last longer

Does it play fullscreen videos ? How about, if during play you push "1" ? That should work. It works on many samsungs.

The set is good but it has low speaker volume but the head set volume is good.The set would have been a perfect 100% if it had a MegaPixel camera and a bit louder speaker volume..

Just got this phone first time ever using a samsung,have always used sony ericsson. I have found this phone easy to use but the battery life is really bad, and the pop up menus are a little irritating but overall for the money it is good. Can add your memory card and it gets even better. Have not regretted buying it I just have to walk with my charger.

Hi friends, r u going to got this beautiful phone? Best of luck . . . but before this take a look on Nokia 3110 classic!! TFT 256K + stereo Fm radio + 1.3mp camera + Expandable memory and all this for only 6700 Rs. in India!

i personally like samsung a lot....i want to buy this phone...but, can anyone, plz answer me these questions -
1 - is the picture quality tooo bad?? I am using currently motorola L6..do u think, the picture quality is more bad than it?
2 - how long can i video? as much memory i have in phone, or there is any kindd of limitation for video? how big will be the video on screen?? so small..like small 3gp's or i can see them full screen moode-definately clearly...plz explain.
3 - almost every one is claiming that the battery life is not good. is it really too bad that i should reject this phn> i used samsung b4...they ddint seem that much weak battery life...listening MP3 and FM, at least i can hold the charge for 30 hrs?

Awesome phone.Excellent facility like mobile tracker.Sound clarity is superb.Camera quality is not that much.Its ok kind.Poor battery back up.
One big problem i faced ,while charging Background light is switched on..i tried to keep it in idle mode,but failed.
Wonderful slide model for the price.

it is a very atrractive set i realy fell in love with this set but the only thing is that
the option is not very user friendly as in nokia so that it becomes easy for us to use
and the battery back is very less.Rest everything seems to be awsome.really a very good set

I have this phone now for 3 days. I've allways had a nokia before. I'm sattisfied of this phone but it has for now 1 small and 1 big problem for me. The small problem is that it can't chance the sound of the message tone accept for the 4 standard tones. The big problem is the battery life. For the first time i've loaded the battery, it ran out after 2 days. Friends of mine who have the same phone told me it will run out after 1 day. My Nokia's worked for allmost a week.

A stylish fone andlots of features 4 a great price. BUT battery life is a big letdown. I dont make many calls but i will be lucky to get home before the irritating beep of battery low. cant samsung do something? i have never admired any other model since 01

I find that with the samsung e250, the clock doesnt appear when the phone is not being used and the phone looks like its off because the screen is blank. Anybody know how to make the clock appear when the phone isnt being used?
Is there a way of checking whether or not you have missed calls other than just sliding the phone so it turns on?

Hi, i got the E250 1.4 weeks ago and wat can i say.
nice camera (extremely clear), sound quality is very clear, big LCD screen and ITS A SLIDE.
Yes, i must agree, the batterylife doesnt last a long time especially playing games and listening to the FM radio, but just plug it in at night.
Thumbs up.
