Very good phone. Lots of features at an affordable price. However, it is delicate. Don't ask a three year old child to unplug it when it has finished charging. Also, it doesn't come with a USB cable but comes with software (strange). My conclusion is that it is to be used with the bluetooth dongle to transfer files. I searched everywhere for its USB cable. I got offers of complete data transfer packages (USB and software) from cellphone dealers - costing between R300 and R500 or more. Apparently it is compatible to the D900. All I needed was the USB cable for crying out loud. I then saw this Bluetooth dongle thing and decided to try it out. VOILA. The dongle also has the advantage that you can surf the net with your phone on your computer (why didn't anyone tell me this). It (the dongle) currently costs only R100 including the software. There also seems to be a big communication problem between the cellphone (suppliers/manufactirers) and the retailers because none of the seven retailers that I asked could tell me where to get the USB cable for the phone (or to use a dongle, if this is the only way to transfer files from the phone). Samsung, please rectify this. I had to find this out myself, and I am still mad.

Not worth for money.
1)poor battery life
2) no screen saver setting
3)no support for memory card i.e. if you take photo it goes to phone memory I had memory card installed but every time i have to save it in memory card

The phone is fantabulous, there is no other like this one I think, except for the short battery life. I want to know if the e250 comes in black and if so where can I get a black one, can you advice me, i live in Bloemfontein.

It is a great phone as far as the features are concerned,but there are two problems;The battery life is too short,it heats up on charging and while in use and secondly,the message tones are not good.Please rectify that,otherwise,it is a cool phone.

i bought this phone 1 month before in chennai. what the problem is i can here the message tone. u should rectify this prob when u introduce other new models.

so the samsung has many option and also i found it cool and having a resonable price but samsung e250 has a very bad sound quality!!!

I got this E250 2 days ago and did not charge for more than 6 hours and later my friend told me to charge it for more time even after that the battery life is bad. If i hear MP3 or radio for more than 1/2 hr then the battery is dead. Carrying charger along with headset is my new habit. My old phone did not need that. Need to improve the battery life

when i bought the sgh-e250... i loved it... its so cool... but the problem is that the battery doesn't last very long...another problem is when you send a message,your sent message does not go to the sent box... later on i found out how to make it go to the sent box, all you have to do is that, when you send the message, instead of selecting SEND ONLY, you select SAVE AND SEND, then when the message is sent, you will have a copy of that message in your SENT BOX...aside from that,the phone is very amazing... That is ALL... tnx..

Great phone. Good software - never crashes and java support is great - those in South Africa that use MXIT should give this one a go...battery life while on gprs is around 4hours but otherwise can last for days if only using call/sms and even radio doesnt' drain the battery - good reception for those who listen to radio786.

i have had the phone for about a week now it is a load of crap because wen i wanna play music the battery dies in a hour to 3 hours

I have a samsung E250...it's a good phone...the only problem i have with it...is it doesn't show my messages i'v sent..in other words i never have anything in my out/sent box....which i worrying me...does anyone else have that problem...and how can it be fixed..thanks

I just had this phone for two days now, its nice and light to carry. But I must agree with everyone, the battery life is ridiculous.
I cannot set it up for mms or internet.Someone please help. I am struggling with this and my service provider takes longto respond.

the battery life is ordinary, and when i download songs onto my samsung E250 it is somtimes difficult to find. other then that the phone is great

i have had the phone for a few days now and im thoroughly pleased with it, i thought it would be rubbish for the price buts its actually very nice, also its volume is fine for me, it really depends on what songs you have, cuase i have rihanna and its very loud yet i also have a akon song and its quite, what is the most this phone can store in memory, i mean what is the biggest memory card this phone can support?

when texting using T9 and u want to change a word,i go to spell but it keeps using upper case words to re-spell,no matter what setting i use on T-9,ie T9 with lower case can any one help please ta

It doesn't give you any options about background/colour changes. It does have great large font size (even on the small setting) and a great size screen. Thank You!

i just got this phone from my bro, its so cool..just want to know what is with this battery?? i mean i just used it for only 4 hrs of txting and that's it drained.. whats with this? also, can i download games and place it in the memorycard??? overall i love this phone.. ehehehe

I NEED HELP!!!
I put in my activated sim card in and power it up but it keep restarting/rebooting and didn't allow me to the main screen. When I put an unactivated sim, it allows me to go in the main screen. Any one knows what's going on?
Any suggestions??
