yaee!!! i got it how to install java appllications in it. though it's a little complicated, it works!
do you know that the installation of java apps by default is made to be only from gprs. ie go to the site and click on the *.jar file to install and it begins. here we want to change it to take place via the data cable or the bluetooth as it is connected to your machine(pc). you want to make slight changes in the phone settings (this is not the settings yo can see in your phone). yo want to open the java test settings and there you are. it's not yet finished. you want 2 more programs for that. they are softick ppp(try not to get the newest version :: so get 2.21)and java uploader for samsung hand sets. softick ppp is used to connect computer and pda by a ppp link. get these ready! we are about to go.......!!!!!

I didn't like the phone. internal memory is very low. as a result its not possible to set more than two ringtons. Resolation is not good. sound quality is not good because only bits can be heard but thrible is very low. overall ............I did't like it.

had this phone for a while and i thought it was pretty ok - only i don't like the menu outlook and also i couldn't download themes - that really sucked! but otherwise its a nice phone - am not too sure about network reception though

I need some help. Can this phone be set to save photos and videos taken with its camera on the memory card and not on the phone memory? How?

here is the samsung e250 sond hack and other hacks. the phone can be opened in advanced management state. enter the code *#0206*8378# (the part [ 8378 ] will be seen as - ). it should open TEST MODE. Go to H/W Test, Audio Settings, IIS Normal 2, RX Vol, and go to the level 14 and enter your desired level. I went well with 2500 in the level 14 (it can go well till 3500 is what i read in other forums). increasing the level too much leads to sound distortion and may blow your speaker.
any body please post the installetion procedure of java apps for e250. is both jar and jad files necessary to install java apps?
!!!please help me to install java apps... :-(

Its really nice.... but can't customise sms ringtone... and the music playlist has a limit of 4.. each with maximum of 30 tracks..

got this phone just some days back. really this one is best for value with lots of features that are easily customisable.
but some drawbacks too. if you know to overcome please reply...
1.the blu t'th recieved files are saved in phone memory.it cant be saved directly to card.
2.a song in card cannot be set as ringtone. it should to be copied to ph memory first.
3.message tons cannot be set to mp3.
4.no themes work.
5.no zooming of picture when seeing it.
6.no full screen and land scape video viewable
i dont know about internet speed. please tell if anyone knows and also if you know a solution for the above.
any way this phone can cater your essential needs easily.

I only have three major problems with the phone and I have to admit, I discourage anyone to but this model. Everybody that I know who has this model, complaints about sudden loss of signal while talking and even when trying to send an sms, you'll find yourself being very frustrated for not getting that sms through in real time.
Secondly, one is not able to assign a sound file to an incoming sms. You are stuck with unpersonalised sms tones as per phone specs.
Thirdly, the paint on the keypad fades very quickly and you are stuck with a brand new phone with black blobs after a while.
Overall a good phone, but with the constant loss of signal, a terrible phone to have.
