.finally I found something I don't like about this phone just today (July 1, 2011) this phone cannot display more than 3,000 files from your memory card! I have a 2GB memory card from my previous phone and it has a lot of files in there, both photos, songs and 4 full DVD MOVIES converted to 3GP...but this phone cannot show it all.
wHAT'S THE POINT??? If this phone can't show more than 3K files, there is no need to buy an 8GB memory card!
I hope someone can explain this and tell me I'm wrong! Please help...

1. is this mob gud for messaging?... more.@asn: for me this phone is good in messaging but I suggest two things to make things better:
1. grow and trim your thumbs' nails to a bit sharper (haha)to use it for faster text typing...(weirdo, I know, sorry guys, hehe) this phone's display is resistive so it means it requires pressure to function (the purpose for the sharper nail is for accuracy :)
if your afraid to scratch the display place a screen protector for it :)
2. for chatting on facebook, yahoo! etc...I downloaded and installed eBuddy Messenger on it...excellent!
now, has anyone tried sharpening their nails for the sake of a resistive touchscreen??? Hehehe...

Ajay, 28 Jun 2011Hi, yesterday i brought this mobile,it seems good.my proble... more.for you to find out which sim you are using by default...there is a shade of blue that highlights the icons of your network on the upper-left corner. I suggest you should give each network/simcard a different icon and change the theme and/or wallpaper to match each of the 2 network. That way it is easier for you to see which is which.

This is dual sim sual standby. But if one sim is in use then the other is unreachable.
The platform is java. You can install some applications to view documents. But it won't satisfy you.
It's resistive touch. You won't want it if you need only texting. But it's not bad though. Good. Yeah!
Yup! It has backgroud music play.
Screen resolution is fair enough! It's good. You can see the pixels from a short distance. Ofcourse! It's a cheap phone, right? But it's not like you can count them. :>
what do you mean by asking if it can play every video format?
Does your computer even play EVERY video format? Of EVERY resolution?--- no.
Bt it can play 320X240 mp4, 3gp maybe avi with mp4 codec.

.if there is a single phone that is a dual sim with the ability to accept two calls at the same time...please let me know. Cuz I don't if there is... :)
for now I own this phone. Nice one, but I'll be moving towards my first Android phone...Galaxy Ace on October. hehe...for now am havin fun with this toy. :)

can this support java games and apps?No drin. It's not multi touch. And it supports java games and apps. But samsung proprietary operating system has java installation limitation. You can install upto 4096 kb. So it won't enable you to keep a lot of applications installed.
And maybe you can NOT install apps bigger than 400 kb. But you can tweak that.

What's the propriety then? I will use a dual standby phone, and half the people will find me unreachable. Samsung D880/980 was better at this. Nope! This won't work for me. Everything else was alluring though.

.DUAL ACTIVE STAND-BY means that your two sim cards are both online and is ready to receive a text message or a call...but once one of the 2 sim cards did receive a call the other one is disabled and becomes unreachable.
Once the cal is ended, the 2 sim cards are both back online!
