may be the pic is too large to fit the max size of ur phone or the file name can't be supported...JPEG and GIF are the supported image files...

this phone has good quality of sound...not very good nor excellent...sometimes, i fail to hear the alarm...but overall...this phone has become my ultimate bestfriend...even though i want to buy a new SE phone, i cant afford to sell this...that's how special this is to me...

PDF...this phone is a picsel viewer...meaning you can store files like Word, Excel, Powerpoint but you can't create or edit these types of files...just store and view...

no, you can't assign mp3 for sms or mms...there are 4 default tones that you can choose from...

Hi, just got this phone today- havent had time to play with it yet but the size and feel of the phone are excellent. Also, I got the 'white' one, but it is most definitely silver, which looks great. its not even close to being white!!

Although it was already available in february 2007, it is just now for sale in Suriname january 2008
The phone isn't that cheap here about $255 but i like it because of it's features: mem.card slot, 3mp camera good sound quality and it's compact desing.
Can someone please tell me what the difference is between Samsung phones used in Asia and phones for the US market in quality and which are better for use in South America?

I've a question. Can anyone confirm me about the option of - PDF, Word doc viewer? While I'm gonna check one to buy , salesman oppose that E590 doesn't support that option.
Please let me know the information, Is it possible that function differ for seperate region (South Asia-Europe)....Thanks

of course you can have an mp3 song for alarm...just go to alarm and scroll down then you will see a rectangular box to let you chosse a music for alarm...but of course, you can't assign a music for alarm if it's stored in your microSD..can anybody please tell the games that you have already installed in E590 so that i can be able to assure that it's compatible with the phone...PLEASE!!!!have mercy...maawa po kayo....:-)

Hi, can anybody tell me how to manage music on the phone? It seems that I can either choose to play one of the 4 playlists (is it possible to create more?) or go to the files and play 1 song at a time. Is this a problem of my software or is it really like this?

Battery life is good- around 3 to 4 days, average texting, minimal multimedia use. Sad to say, upon using heavy multimedia (radio, MP3 in loud speakers), bat life drops down to a day. But overall, I really love this phone. Nice camera quality in daylight, sucks in night time (doesn't have a flash), but you can adjust the ISO settings though. Like the mosaic feature.. cool way to take pics.
