Hi,
Please, what is the indication in all those phone descriptions that you can
1) transfer mp3 from a computer and then
2) use those music files as ringtones?
I am a bit confused because there are all those offers in magazines to by music and ringtones for phones. I mean, who who buy them if you can get the for free from your pc?!
3) Does E590 have this option: computer MP3 files>>cellphone>>ringtone

i wonder if anyone can help i am after some software for my phone because much as i love it i am not going to pay more for the software than i did for the phone can anyone help cheers dunc

Forgot to mention, for those who do care about SAR levels (like me), the level of this phone is only 0.44 W/10gr and considering Nokia's and SE's mostly reach above 1.0, this is quite an achievement.

A truly delightful phone, has all the features the modern phone should have, but yet manages to stay light, compact and visually stunning. It's quite an attraction, even with it's minimalistic design.

a cool and collected celfone,the samsung e590. except for the fiddly joystick and the inability to really customize the message alerts and average battery life. 3mp camera,mp3 and mp4 with fm radio,90mb internal and upto 1gb upgradeable external memories,bluetooth connectivity,handy size yet sturdy,make up for its short comings. two thumbs up for this pint sized powerhouse!

the samsung e590 is a great celfone in the practicality department. small and compact coupled with sturdiness. 3mp camera is just fine especially when its a samsung known for their great audio/video/tv appliances. mp3 and mp4 capabilities with bluetooth compliments its large 90mb internal and upto 1gb external memories. the cool fm radio is the icing in this true mini marvel of a celfone.

People! 3mpx doesnt say anything about camera's quality! It's just saying about the size of the pictures. And who has asked, "why Nokia n93i with 3.15mpx ir so big phone" i can answer. Try to compare pictures made with Nokia n93 and samsung e590.. I just got this samsung. it's really small, the display isn't perfect, keyboard is small, and need to get used with this size.

bought this phone for my daughter in Thailand for 4,000 baht, about $125. It's worth every baht. there's only silver color left. still hot item for this price here. don't care about flash. heard that micro sd 2 gb only 400 baht. will have to get one for my daughter.
the only down point for this phone is the char is too small for old guy. most of Samsung phone usually displays large number but not this one.

i can't use my memory card..i dnt know what is the problem of the phone cause the Phone can't detect my memory card if im going to insert my micro sd...pls emael me!

Samsung E590 or SE W810... Good question. I own a SE K700 and joystick malfunctioned after just 10 months and I had a Sendo clamshell before which died! So I have a fobia for joysticks, clamshells, sliders etc. I'd choose W810 for that reason + it's SE software (which is just about the same as K700-K750 and its perfect 4 me). If it didn't have a joystick I'd buy the E590 for its camera and document viewer.

The price is good for the performances of this phone, you can find this performances at phones much expensive than Samsung E590 , I think is the best !

Hi,
I'm thinking about getting this phone...
Is it possible to display the next couple of appointments from the calender in the "idle screen"? Page 34 of the manual has the text "Display the calendar of the current month on the idle screen", but that sounds more like it will just display a calender month grid...
Anybody have any pictures of the screen of a E590 when it's in the "planner"?
