Samsung E720

I am impressed with my E720, but one of the requests I made before I bought it was that I could completely lock my phone (my original Panasonic did this) There are apparently different locks on the E720, Phone lock, Privacy, these two work fine, but I want to prevent calls being made, hence, Call Barring. Does anyone know who to activate this, as Samsung keep providing incorrect information as to the codes.

I love the phone its great but im having problems with the USB and easystudio. The cd and the USB came with the phone but there were no instructions so i had to wing it. the PIMS and File manager intalled fine but says it is "Offline" or "nothing". The USB syas it is installed but it wont work for me so i am unable to get my pics onto the computer and load music onto it. did anyone have the same problem? If yes please please help me out. thanks!

i have had this phone for two months now and is still didn't figure one thing out.
the camera records in .MP4 but when i upload (through bluetooth USB connector) an MP4 movie from my PC it says unrecognized file. but it downloads into Downloaded Video's.
can anyone tell me what i am doing wrong.
Further more i Love this phone, it just handles so easily

Hiya everyone :) Well I'm looking to get a new phone and I'm having a hard time deciding between the Samsung E330 and the Samsung E720. Well I know you are all gonna say the E720 becaus eits got way better features etc. but I absolutely love the design of the E330. So well can anyone help me decide which one to get?? thanx :)

Hey everyone, i jus got this phone.. and its great but the only thing that put me down is that the usb doesn't work.. i cant transfer things on my e720 from the usb to the computer or vise versa.. can some please help me? i read some of the comments and A LOT of users are experiencing this problem too.. please post a comment and help every1 out ASAP, thanks

im currently using the easystudio ii...and somehow its maximun transfer is only 100KB..is there anething we can do to make it upload more kB...is there a patch? thank you

does anyone know a website where i can download skins fot this phone. skins for the display screen and secondly skins for the mp3 player in it. also where can i download more games for this phone. my service provider doesn't support wap. but i do have a usb cable. please help.

The mic next to the ear piece is for the video sound and should have no affect during calls. The mic you use during calls is at the other end of the phone, well away from the ear piece.
But you are spot on with your description of the poor sound Jacob.
I am on my fourth handset now, and they have all been the same, RUBBISH!
Welcome to the muffled world of the E720.
Yes, I know there are people out there who have 'good' ones and are happy, but there are a huge number of people who are having problems.
Samsung should do the decent thing and sort it out.
One thing is for sure, I will never buy another Samsung.

This phone has such bad reception its dreadful. It shouldn't be allowed on the market to be sold, i reckon because the mic is placed close to the earpeice there is distortion. It sounds like people are talking through a sock when i'm in a call.
Lucky i'm not expecting or going to be making calls this year!

to get pic messages with o2 you should ring them up directly, give them phone make and model and they will give u step by step instructions on what to di. they will even ring u back to save your phone bill and do it with u, alternatively u can request via phoning them to send it by email which is just as easy. hope that helps

No, there aren't any ways to change the message tones, you have to pick one of the ones that comes standard. The phone has about 82 MBs, which, if you're using standard Mp3 format, probably holds about 20 full length songs assuming you don't reserve a lot of memory for pictures and videos. You can set Mp3's in lower quality format however without being able to notice much.

i cant set up my picture messages o2 have already tryed then told me they cant. i have tryed everything and i also dont no what web site i can download songs onto my mp3player for free. how can i fix these things please?

i am madly in love with my phone. my boyfriend got it for me so i love it even more then you probably do its such an awesome phone i wont trade it for the world i hope it last forever.i have a ton of pictures on there of me and my boyfriend kissing and they last and bring back the memory everytime i look at it. because the pictures are so clear
