i have just received my new samsung e720 and the 1st thing i did was 2 check the sound on the fonecalls!tru that it isnt the bst sound i have ever heard but it is still acceptable. the video and the camera and the mp3 are al great! i fink that all in all this is a great fone

just got a samsung E720 and it definately beats my old phone, i have a problem though. i have NO idea how to donwload mp3 tunes or videos (i really want the angry kid videos!!!) can ne 1 help pls?????????

The ideal resolution is 176x144 pixels. I use Samsung PC Studio II to download music and pics - works perfect. Read HELP, people. Hint: There are 2 USB Drivers to install: Mobile USB and CDMA USB driver. Then connect your e720 to PC, start PIMS & File manager, go File>Setup and try different Ports (COM1, COM2...) Ya'll get connected. No sound problem with my phone. The firmware - E720XXEC5. I know there is E720XXEC9 avail ;)

I am pleased to tell you all that are interested that the Samsung e720 has finally been released in Optus stores in Australia, and im also very excited to be getting mine on Tuesday today is wednesday so only 6days to go YAY!! i have been waiting so long for this phone it's not funny and to be reading on what all have wrote about it and i've been so jealous of all of you been able to play with it and all sorts, i know a few of you will be thinking don't b stupid on getting due to so many glitches with it but i love the look of this phone and the features from what ive seen look great, so i'll take my chances with it as many of you have and i'll let you know how i i go with the sound n all that!!

I'm sorry guys to tell you this but I have a samsung E700 for an yer and I think the design is much nicer than the E720...I want a smarter phone and I'm defenetly going on the samsung d500 model, it has a more serious and nicer design than the E720...as hard as they might have tried the E720's design is not like E700 so the d500 is the best option...sorry guys...

Yes you can have a video, providing the clip is short enough, you can definately have animations though as they are small in size.
The phone just looks and feels very expensive, however could someone help me?. I downloaded an MPEG file, and i cant delete it, i get failed.
Any ideas?

can you have animated images has wallpapers?
and can you have a movie (one you have recorded you the recorder) set as you wallpaper?

I'm from Romania...i have E720...but i have 1 problem!!!Whatttt rezolution should i make to wallpapers to pu them on the fullscreen!!!please answer me on mail!!!
And another thing how do i delete phone pictures and melodies !!!need help!!!in the rest the phone is good!!!
i wanna ask you something else...when the battery is low?and you put the phone to charge show on screen at the battery that is charging???thank you and keep in touch!!!

Gill, I think your problem is with your laptop.
The phone saves video in 3gp or Mp4 format depending on your settings.
I am guessing your PC is running windows. If this is so, you will find that it does not recognise these formats.
The easy way round the problem is to download the free version of 'Quick Time Player'
This will play both formats without any trouble. Hope this helps.

I've had this phone for a couple of months now and have had no problems, i really needed a phone that woule take decent videos and photos as i attend a lot of gigs and so want some good reminders of the night. A few days ago i sent all my videos on my phone to my laptop through bluetooth, everything appeared to be fine until i attempted to play the video and it said that it was a data file and would not play, is there any way that i can change the file type on my phone or does it lie with the computer needing altered? Please reply as soon as possible, thanks, Gill.
