Hey all.Got my E720 yesterday,and i think its a great phone.My mates have got 1.3mpx cameras on their phones with 65k colour screens and although this has 1.0mpx I can't see a difference in photo quality.The 262k colour screen makes photos look great!
Its really easy to use,and thankfully I haven't had any sound probs that others have had-my call quality is superb.Great phone with great functions!Any questions from anyone i'd be happy to answer.

I've been to many different sites to find out about the Samsung e720, but some say that it has handsfree and some say that it doesn't. Can anyone tell me if the Samsung e720 has handsfree?

ohh... :(((( I am a bit dissapointed... First of all, O2 network (in UK) does not provide WAP and GPRS services for this model, just for E700, and D500... Can't understand why, because I saw GPRS and WAP on my mobile.???
Next, I am dissapointed, that I cannot play mp3 for the alarm.... Or maybe I don't know how to do it??? Can anyone help??? By the way, how to download mp3 songs from my PC to this mobile? Should I buy Bluetooth for PC or is it better to use a cable???

cheap copy of the d500, d500 has a 1.3mega pixels and this has 1.0mega pixels

Angie,
Get a Bluetooth "dongle" which connects to your phone (you will need to enable the activation on the E720 first so the PC can see it).
Try www.mobilefun.co.uk and search under Samsung e720
I got mine for £15.
When you right click an MP3 file on your PC, you can send to...Bluetooth device and pick your phone. The only downside is file sizes...It would be better to cut the MP3 song with Magix tone converter.

The E720 is very good - Get it now!
Also the Magix ringtone converter is useful piece of software - convert music to MP3 or MMF and it looks for the bluetooth device (mobile) and sends it there. Samsung also have useful software on their site - There is a piece that allows you to connect via bluetooth to the E720, copy and backup all your phone numbers, see call records and make changes to the contacts names, etc.
There is also a picture convertor to send pics to the phone. Smart, small and easy to use. I thought about the motorola razar...but after seeing my friends, it looks great, but functionality is better with Samsung!

Yes it can, just hold on to the camera button when the phone is closed, you can even zoom or take video with phone closed

to remove sms recipients, just select the ms in the inbox n delete it.as for angie, if u r using a desktop, just buy a BT usb adapter n install it, its cheaper, faster n so much easier..but remember this phone only holds 10MB memory( about 3 to 4 songs)...as for jen, I'm still figuring the extrnal display...the clock keep disappearing. even when u launch the MP3 player at da front display, it doesnt stay on....have to press down on the smartkey. but i love da MP3 player when it plays....clearer than mot e398 n da phone dont freeze....

Don't think you can delete the recent recipient list for SMS

Does anyone know how to clear the sms recent recipents? I don't really want a couple of the numbers on there and can't seem to delete them.

Bob got thesame decision to make either this one or maotorola v635 but think after reading reviews this one may be better and looks great ........... only down side is no handsfree speaker or voice dailing which is handy when using bluetooth in car.
