I am sorry to say that samsung has just announced that this phone will be coming out in december. I was really looking forward to buying it but don't know for sure know.

i`m so piss off now about this phone. we are on 21st sentury and this phone to come out is taking that long? samsumg have to much mouth and less activity. bring the phone out please. here(london-UK) we`re expecting this month now the month is already gone. i`m tooo tired to wait. is someone with this toy yet? if so holla back. is any good?

e700, e715, p510, nokia 6230... got them all. one of the reason I've switched to nokia (again) is that annoying "vibra THEN ring". There is a simply way to make your samsumg vibrate and ring at the same time: download nokia original ringtones. The mobile net is full of this sites. And the sound is better on a samsung. worth to try. i did.

Perfection? almost.... this phone looks like it's gonna be a big hit, don't ya think?
but D500 hasn't been out that long, and there isn't much competition with other makers at the moment either.... So I think Samsung is gonna hold the release of this phone for quite some time....
My guess? maybe late 2005...but then again who am I to say?
Perfect phone...with one CON: would've been nice to have SD slots. 90MB is surely enough for most people, but SD slots opens up the market for more diverse targets.

Samsung is great mobile, and E720 will comes to prove that. i will uy this mobile or E315...they are fantastic

It really sucks that it no longer supports mp3 ringtones!! I really waited for this phone but now i'm not goinig to buy it because...!!! AAARGGH SUCKS!!

Well I'm not from Europe :-) I'm from Malaysia.
Yes it is important because then we can know when the phone is ringing in a noisy place and on taking out the phone we know what tunes is playing for the specific groups, thus allowing us to just mute, cancel or answer the call. If it is in vibration only, we need to look at the screen and so on, sometimes we flip it open first and argh... there is that joker which we didn't want to hear his/her voice :-D
Most people I know in Malaysia set their phone to ring and vibrate at the same time (even samsung via specially made mmf files).

this phone no longer supports MP3 ringtones? why is that? i think i'll be very dissapointed and will ahve to wait for the E730. i had high hopes for this phone, now i've lost it.
