hi samsung users,
i have this phone E-730 for 6 months now. i know there is an mp3-player in it, but don t know how to put music from my pc on it.
can anybody give me some instructions?

i love this phone. but i confuse and a lil' disappoint cos this phone's database someimes error. this is happen when i use spped dial. wen i use the spped dial to call a friend, called 'friend1', in the dialled number list appear the other name 'friend2'. this is ridiculous and happend all d time. besides that, e730 is not flexibel as nokia, in order to add a new number in the same contact from detail in inbox..
the camera also very easily get scratch..
well..i think there are some of e730 weakness..

Hi i have recently had this phone it has it extremely easy controls and is a great phone on the sie of looks too.....buti have had more difficulties in this phone then any other. it started to freeze up then one day just stopped turning on! not one perswon could tell me the problem if any one may know how i can ix it i would be extremely help me i miss m phone well email me your help please.

i've had this phone for around 6 or 7 months now and i really love it! havent really had many problems with it at all, but i have to admit, i dont use a lot of its features cos i lost the cd that came with it and havnt been able to really upload any photos directly but the bluetooth makes up for it.

Hi Toni,
The best trouble free way to transfer files in/out fm the handset is getting a bluetooth dongle, any other USB cable or similar may results in non compatible with your PC what so ever.

Just save the MP3 inside the music folder & you'll able to see a option of "set as ringtone" by clicking it. Of course, u might cut down the size of the song as it takes up memory even it actually plays about 35secs. when phone rings.
If you're thinking of headache free, this is one of good phone compare to Nokia, no doubts it is more friendly. ->More function - more problems. Simple & having enough functions for your needs, is worth getting.....E730 C
Anyway, I'm a Nokia fans, but I'm admire other good phones too.

heyy guys. i justt read most of your comments. and im looking foward to buy this phone. im not exactly the smartest person wen it comes to phones. and im scared ill have trouble with the mp3. and bluetooth.
if anyone can tell me more bout this phone. ill really appreciate it. =)

with rgds to the post below, i also tried using taiwan's fareastone sim card with the phone n it keeps rebooting. the retailer says for E730 it cant be used with overseas operator's sim. Did anyone try going back to the service centre bot this problem?? Pls let me know..

HI, I've had my samsung e 730 for a few days but im having real probs getting mp3's onto the phone. I went to a shop (here in Bangkok where they have LOADS of phone shops) and tried to get my wma files to go on my phone. They did it but the volume was extreely low. Can anyone tell me how to get these on my phone from my pc. The file manager doesnt accept any files i try to put on my phone including jpegs. Thanks for any advice, Toni

hey k. try upgrading to nokia 6233.. i currently have had e730 for nearly 12 months.. rubbish phone it is too.. nokia 6233 is great phone.. stereo spkers n all... have a look. i will be getting mine asap :)

Great phone. Value for money. The main LCD is bright. The sub display has always illuminated OLED clock. Camera is clear when outdoor. I had fun with the camera's photo border. My phone has a soft velvet like housing texture which there is another type with i prefer that is solid black finish. Anyway after a week of usage, its stolen while in Malaysia. I like the phone. Hmm..:(

Hi guys, I am loving the Samsung e730, but i have a few questions that i am hoping someone can help me with.
1) does anyone know how to lock the keypad on the phone, so no one else can go thru my phone??
2) i want to put a couple of videos on my phone, but im not sure hoe or what format they have to be, Can anyone help me out??
I dunno if they are stupid questions but thanks for your time and if anyone has the answers can you please email me??

I just got this phone for just over a week and it works great but I am a person that always changes phones and upgrades but I haven't seen any good phone to upgrade to with a better camera and a radio can anyone give me a suggestion?

Angeline,if u cant delete the song with the help of his menu, try ro delete it with the help of your data cable, you plug it to your computer, he is showing all the files, select the downloaded file, and search the song you want to delete....:), with me was like the same, but with some pictures, who wore blocking my phone...

hey angeline, i dunno if this rly helps but, when i uploaded mp3's onto my fone the same thing happened to me. when u click on mp3 player u gotta press the up button then u press the top left buttom with the three dots and click add a file, find ur new song and press ok

Can anyone help me my friend downloading a song frm the PC onto my MP3 but when i tried to play the it show not supported content and i cant delete the song. Pls help anyone.
