Jim K i checked out the price a while ago the bluetooth headset is more expensive than i thought here in Philipines itll cost u about 60$ and its more expensive than usb dongle. when u play the mp3/m4a or FM radio using the bluetooth headset will u hear it? tnx

hi,, folks i bought the e730 2 days ago but cant connect to my PC CAN ANY ONE HELP PLEASE? I have windowsXP and i even tried to install the software.. please help..

Lo, the songs don't lag and no, you can't play mp3's in the background while doing other fuinctions. And yes, you use Nero to convert them to MP4, which reduces them to over a quarter of the size with minimal quality loss. Cheers, Jim K

If users are encountering the error message "video recording event was occurred" the best solution to continue transferring files using the PIM File Manager is to reset the handset. Generally the error occurs after you have recorded a video on the handset and you are attempting to transfer files via the PIM File Manager.
Simply switch the handset off, then switch it back on. Users should be able to transfer files subsequent to this.

I'm interested in buying this because it's feature-full and costs just 275 $ on plemix,but i fear 90 mb is too little for mp3's,i read here some time ago some guy saying theres a way to convert mp3's into another format wich makes the songs smaller so you can fit more in.Other than that i want to know if it lags at all and if it can play mp3 in background. Hatem, the Samsung E730 is a great mobile. Yes, the only problem is the memory, which isn't expandable, but the fone has a built in 92 MB memory card anyway. Click on the link below for a complete review on the fone.. Cheers, Jim K

Joao, Go for the Blue Tooth Dongle matey. Yes you can charge the fone through your USB cable, but you can also charge it through you normal charger too, which is better anyway. The Easy Studio software is easily available, so don't worry about it. The Blue tooth dongle comes with great software anyway, so you'll be fine.. Cheers, Jim K

Hello everybody.
I've just bought a new samsung e730, wich will (hoppefully) arrive in the next couple of days.
The package I bought does not include a USB cable, so I was wondering:
Should I buy a usb cable or a bluetooth dongle to connect the phone to my laptop?
Also, can anybody tell me if the battery can be charged trough the USB cable?
Finally, i would like to know if the Easy Studio cd has the same applications that are downloadable from the samsung site (since, if I decide to buy a USB cable, I have the option to buy it with or without the cd)
If anyone can help out, I would be very grateful.

Pikao if u mean by the lens problem is the scratch, it is inevitable unless it dont touches anything even a cloth.

Chris Henry i dont if this your problem is, pardon me. At the upper left of your PIM file manager click the + sign at the "My Phone" then click any folder which corresponds to your upload/download then you will see the upload and download button is already enabled.

i Just recently bought this phone, I like it alot, it came with a USB cord so i can upload music and do my phone book and all of that "Samsung PC studio" but the second I go on, I only see the "upload" ringtone for 3 seconds and it goes away, and it wont let me do it, if anyone can help me, can you plz email me ASAP on smallznnn@aol.com , any help is helpful! thanks

Thanks Dominic, but my phone is online with the PIM software as the phone book entries loaded up to the software. I can even change phone book entries or remove them in the PIM software and it reflects on the phone. I just cannot get the option to upload or download to be disabled. I see the option on the menu but it is disabled.
