GREAT PHONE!!! Does anyone knows where I can get free stuff to this phone? Movies, animated wallpapers or cool pictures? And how to make contacts not duplicated (sim card and phone)? THANX!!!

i went to showroom to see this model.
there was no charge left in the mobile.so the guy there charged the mobile infront of me for 5 min.Then he gave it to me still it was connected to plug. Now the interesting thing i noticed that " the keypad became somewat hot"( u can feel it whn u touch it). whn i asked abt this, he was telling that he is charging it for the first time that mobile.
did somebody faced this pblm?

does the camera of this phone is the same as in nokia 6630 which have sharp and clear pictures?

ppeople!?! This phone is very sensative and the play and rewinding buttons on the front are very delecate. Be careful!:) The performance is rgeat but the new samsungs coming out are tooo simple.

you have to charge the phone about 13 hours for the batter to get used to full capacity. if you have not done the initial charge (about 13 hours) that may be the reason why it is so short

After going through a number of opinions posted here I went and purchased this COOOL phone yesterday. It is excellent.
Regarding the problem of recognising through USB cale:: It will give the error but if you open the PIM and transfer using the blue arrows it will allow. THING to remember --The uploads will be allowed only in specific folders.

Where can i download the software the recognizes my E730 through the USB so i can get some mp3s on it.
Oh this phone doesn't play Mp4 videoi think it said it plays GP but i don't know what that is.

Hi...i'm getting this phone soon..just cant wait...though they wrote that the talktime is 5 hours..but i hear a lot of ppl saying that the battery runs out fast...can someone tell me how long can the battery last if we listen to the mp3s we store inside?i'm eager to find out..

I just bought this phone it's working good can anyone help me about when I install software in my computer of samsung e730 and connect my phone to pc ringtone and image option always off but when I disconnect the phone to pc it working how can I transfer ringtone and photos from computer to my phone.

now I know whats the best phone for me and I am going to buy the E730, this because the mechanisme of the D500, you say that the slide isn't strong after 4 months. So it isn't a phone for me.

i have had both d500 and e730 so trust me when i say taht e730 is overall better phone than d500
1. the keypad is much more comfortable, the d500 is much more cramped than the e730 so txt messaging and dialing can be frustrating sometimes.
2. although it has the same megapixels, e730 has better camera overall. it has much more clear and crisp image compared to d500. in addition, d500 has about 3 seconds lag each time taking a picture.
3. better features such as speakerphone and fm radio. d500 came out earlier so that e730 has the better functions.
4. after about 4 months of my usage, the slide mechanism were getting too old and it would sometimes slide out when i held the phone upside down. not so with my e730.
the reason why d500 is getting such big hype is that it is literally a slide phone that has pretty good features. if you are willing to sacrifice functions and convience for just style, get the d500, but other than that get the e730

Samsung E730 is the best phone Ive ever had. I had no problem @ all compare to colored Nokias always Hanging/resetting while your using. The colors are so great. almost a complete celfone. It's worth buying!

Hi All,
Got this phone yestarday, its just too good. The processor is fast. MP3 sounds good.
I copied all the contacts form the sim to the phone memory so that i could use the photo caller id facility, now i have a problem and that is, the contact list shows double contact number (one form the sim and one from phone memory).
How do i solve this and show just phone memory contacts ?
