to those having a hard time transferring phone files using the usb cable, click on the windows control panel.. click on phones and modems then the modems folder. find out whic port your samsung mobile usb modem is attached to. then go to your pim and file manager software, click
on file then setup and check whether the port matches the one in the control panel. hope the information helps..

e730 won't be released in the UK and other parts of europe. i read it in some samsung article.

LOVE MY E-730! If you are with T-Mobile, tell them you have an E-720. They will send you the picture messaging and WAP settings. Works PERFECTLY!!!!!

Hello i have looked at a few phones and i like this one the most. I live in the uk and i was wondering if anyone new when this phone is coming out in england? I will be very grateful if i can get the answer to my question.

Yes you can, and take videos with the folder closed too. You got a right lateral button for that.

Forget about setting a wav or mp3 ringtone as sms alert. You can only choose the preset tones.

delete all the phone numbers of your sim card so that it won't be doubled and the name will appear not the number.

nice phone but still the D500 at egypt in the top i like D500 more .
the E730 have the FM option it is nice thing but i the desine of E730 is regular like all other models (( E730 PRICE 2199 L.E (366$) ))

bluetooth is okay..i've already received wav tones from nokia...problem is,i dont know how to convert/load this wav tones as my incoming ringing tone/messages....
as of the moment i'm also figuring it out how to play it...

yeah im from the phil..here in makati..
i've tried that already..copying it on the phonememory..but what happened was,it just doubled the entry..resulting to "no caller id"...
about the bluetooth, i've tried it with Nokia 3660 and 7610..but it says "unable to pair with..." it's also asking for the pincode/passcode...
any idea?

My D500 rings and vibrates at the same time--but not on all "Samsung" ring-tones. This can be changed. Too difficult to explain how on the forum.

are u from philippines?
1). copy all your contacts from sim to your phone and in the contacts, there is an option that you can save new contacts thru sim or phone memory. it's up to u to explore.
2). yes as long as the handphone u use is bluetooth enabled.

i just bought this amazing phone...i like the camera and the radio..
i just have 2 questions;
1) how can i use/activate my phonememory for the contacts.the name of my contacts(caller id) are not visible, only the numbers,it seems that the phone is reading 2 memories (1 is the sim memory and 2 the phone memory).
do i have to delete either of them.
2) does the bluetooth connection is compatible with other phones ex. nokia,ericson...?

berry, i dled the program you said but its still not working, it still says it could not connect to the port. also, where you can get this bluetooth thing which connects to the pc, and does your pc have to have bluetooth on it too?

i just got the phone i am having a hard time transfering mp3s on to my phone using a usb cable and installing the cd that came with it. its showing my phone is offline need some help please if you dont mind thanks
