hi i just purchased my e730, and i was wondering how to put mp3 songs. it says in the manuel to use what is called samsung pc studio 2 but there was no cd or anything in my package. i also read that some people use USB cables but i dont know where to plug it in my cell and don't know which version. i am desperatly trying to get mp3 songs to work. i also downloaded some program from the samsung site which doesn't seem to help me. i know this is a lot to ask, but can anyone take a minute or two to write to me how to successfully put my mp3 songs in my new e730? any help would be greatly appreciated...and e mails would be very much thankful

This phone has it all! (well, almost). Just purchased it 2 days ago and i can't get enough of the mp3 player (you can upload an album in the least), camera that has 8 pic sizes and a flash!, FM Radio (great for those always on the go like me) and awesome resolution. Great for young profesionals who love substance in a nutshell! Highly recommended.

This is so nice phone.. but im read those opinions and i want to ask: is there more good sides than bad sides? its new and expensive, and samsung have many others phones which have same attributes but are more older and cheaper. So what makes this so special?? 92MB:s memory? Can someone tell? However, its really cute^^

Nice phone but won't buy it. When it comes to personnalize your phone with MP3s, loading games and programmes, Nokia is still the best at the moment.

i just got my e730 and it's great but for whatever reason i can't get it to upload mp3's.. i have the samsung data cable and cd but when i go to file management it will only let me download stuff from the phone to pc but not upload from pc to phone. the option is on the screen it just won't let me click on it. is this caused by the phone's software or something tmobile is doing to restrict me.

Just got my E-730 yesterday for $389.00 delivered. I LOVE THIS PHONE. The only thing I had to do was call the dealer who sold it to me to send me the software for the WAP for T-Mobile.

I just got my E730 (glossy version) today, I got the Australian version which came with original Samsung software and data cable for $450 on eBay.
I also own a D500 and I must say that the E730 is very similar to it but with little extras. The screen is very sharp and clear. Small and nice phone I've had so far.
For all of you that want to transfer mp3's and pictures from and to the phone via the data cable, you need to get the Samsung PIM software and USB driver. Both can be downloaded from http://au.samsungmobile.com.au
If the software is offline even if you installed the driver, just go to windows device manager and search for the driver manually. Its usually installed in the Samsung USB 1.0 modem folder (created after you've installed the software and driver).
Thats how I got my software to work.
This phone looks great and feels great!.

Jtan,
Regardless whether it is low battery or fully discharged you need to recharge your battery for 14 hrs after the initial 16 hrs.
Then in the future you can recharge the battery on a normal recharging.
You can email me dante.barcenilla@gmail.com
Cheers,
Dante

Besides camera severely lagging, I can't multi task when I switch on the MP3 player. Sigh. Siemens SX1 can do that! Another grouse is that it can't vibrate and ring at the same time.
