My brother and i both bought this phone. About a month ago my brothers phone wouldnt turn on, also none of the bottons on the keypad would work. After he returned his phone mine started to freeze and turn off when ever it liked, also when i tried to play music it would make a high pitched squeling sound and would not stop unless you took the battery out,the music was going from slow to fast loud to soft. I recemend not to buy this phone because after reading the other opinions this samsung phone is faulty.

Lingyy, 13 Sep 2008Heyy i love this fone but the thing ig that my fone wont tu... morei bought this phone last weekend and i have had toooooooo many problmes with ut.. it freezez, turns off when it feels like it even tho it has been fully charged.. it also turns off while im receving an incoming call and while its switched off, it keeps vibrating! the worst phone i have ever owned. i went back into th store i bought it from and im awaiting a word from th manager to see whether i can exchange it for another phone altogether. im hoping i can swap it and add a bit more money on top and get a nokia.... i absolutely hate it! 0 out of 10

Is there a way 2 get the phone to save all outgoing messages instead of having to press save n send?

How to put the keypad volume off?
Answer: Press the key on the left side of the phone.. you'll see the key volume there...make sure you haven't activated the menu yet.

i bought this phone a month ago & since then it has been replaced twice till i told vodafone i wanted a newphone .
this phone twice has kept freezing, saying "insert sim" & turns off whenever it feels like it.
in my opinion, don't purchase this phone or any samsung phone, stick with a nokia

it is a great phone u should get it becsuse it is really good phone to use and it is better than my old 2 phones so go out and buy one for your self.

-, 19 Aug 2008to save ur sent msg when u r sending time choose save and ... moreto change ur message tone, u have to go to settings then sound settings then message tone, then messages then click using the i button then go down and choose ur tone. The once u r happy with it press select and then save.

I only got this phone the other day. Its very good. I love it!! Black one looks waaaaaaaay better than the pink coz the pink one looks too "girly". Very nice design and has everything u could ask for on it. I had two other phones before they were sagems but they weren't that good, this ones better.I really really love it. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and i personally believe that the black one looks the best; the pink/silver colours doesnt mosh together to make it stylish and yehhhhs. i miss my old black one )': lawl. im going nowwww

and ohh, you cant change the message tone to a mp3 ): my friend has a samsung [but not this phone] and she can change it to a mp3 tone. i think its cause she with a different company; boost!!

i had this phone for a month or so but a few days ago i had to get it replaced for a new one cause the bluetooth broke. The phone has all the basic features you need, has a good design and has one push buttons for music, camcorder/camera which i use often. Oh, and it has this spinning wheel thingy for the music player but its sometimes annoying if u accidentally push it or whatever. The only thing that i dont like about this phone is that if you want the phonebook as a shortcut, you cant and if you live in australia and you try to find a crystal shell cover for it, you cant really find it; you have to go on ebay to buy one.. thats what i did. i give it a 8.5 overall for the phone.... yehhhhs :S
