I know, i noticed that the outer display does not show missed calls. I thought it was jus me that was losing it, but obviously not.
anyone know if this is a design fault or is there a way round it?

Can you set your own mp3 file for the text message ring tone? and can you not get any form of vibration with your won ringtone? cheers

I have selected a downloaded MP3 file as my ringtone on my SGH-770, I can't get the vibration to operate on incoming calls, can this be done ?

Yes vibtonez means it vibrates in time with the rithim but it only vibrates with ringtones that come with the phone and purchased tones not your mp3 and vibtonez it a new thing it vibrates at differnt power levels e.g. the louder the tone the more powerful the vibrate

Hi, can anyone tell me what is the fuction of VibeTonz ? does that mean that the phone can ring and vibrate at the same time ? thank you !

Did any notice that when you get a missed call it does not show on the outside display. Does any one know how to solve this.
Its a great little phone - very light and very slim i really like it just that one feature annoys me. or i should say lack of a feature.

The phone is more than satisfying, it is loud enough to hear on the street. I wouldn't know how loud it rings during the concert cuz I switch it off...

no video in full screen, the screen of the d500, Z500 and E770 are the same 176x220.
The volume of the mp3 ringtone is loud enough, I got a call at a concert and I heard it.

wesley, can u play video in full screen? by pressing d #1 key, like d600?..is d ringtone loud enough?is d display bigger than Z500/D500?tnx...

@ Irlo: It's really light and slim, its really a nice phone. When I bought it it doesn't had a usb cable in the package. But I have a bluetooth stick so I dont care :p.
What I find strange for samsung is that the charger input isn't the same as that of an other samsung model. My brother has an Z500 and die size of the input is bigger so I can't use its usb cable. Very stupid, but maybe more profit for samsung

just upgraded from d500 to this phone and i really like it.
looks really stylish and is sooo light. software is not that much different to d500, but i like the fact that you can take a pic with the clam shell shut, and the pic quality is loads better than d500.
keypad feels really nice to use and call sound quality is excellent.
i would also say that the bluetooth is more reliable than with the d500.
the fact you can add a memory card is also a plus.
only downside is that handset doesnt vibrate while ringing when set to an mp3, but its same with all samsungs anyway and you jus get used to it, its loud enough for you to hear anyway.
i also thought it had broke when i got it, i turned it off while on charge but couldnt turn it back on. seems you cant turn the handset back on again while charger plugged in, so dont panick if this happens to you.
overall im glad i upgraded to e770, definite thumbs up from me. i reccommend it.

i believe it is 1 hour with 80mb of internal memory more with transflash

Hey i was wondering if anybody knows how long you can video record on this phone as all it says is 'this phone has video capture'! If anybody could tell me i'd be most grateful! :)

Just got my samsung e770 this morn, pretty cool all round.
Just one question though, when I put mp3s on as ringtone it doesn't allow vibrate.
Is there a way around this?

James....the ring volume is pretty loud. Picture and video quality is good but I can't get video to play full screen.....still learning so I can't say for sure yet. For those worried about battery life I still have no complaints. Sound quality of MP3's on the phone is not that good, you really need headphones....the D600 beats this phone for sound quality but that is not an issue with me.
