hi guys.. this is a relatively great phone and im happy with my choice.. i've had it for like.. 6months now? since may.. neway.. i've got a few probs.. i cant receive mms at all.. even from other samsung phones.. i dont even receive the msg saying i have received an mms.. i called optus and samsung customer care.. but doesn't work.. and how do i get teh voice command working.. i cant seem to find the menu

I love this phone however after time the silver bit around the front screen turned a rusty pink colour even though i take good care of it?? has this happend to any ones elses? wb please x

Ive had that problem too George, and I noticed it myself when i tried to put on my own voice mail message.

When I turn phone, it blocks and i can not restart it without removing batery.
Front screen blocks too with clock locked in time when I was turning it off.

Hi
I bought this phone about a month ago I am very pleased with it, MP3 is very good and Video pictures are of good quality.
I'm not sure if this is a fault with the phone or just the design but people have been telling me that when I speak to them on the phone the quality is not that good, maybe it's the microphone being of poor quality or the reception of the phone is not very good. Does anyone else have this problem??

Nokia will soon release the 7390, same as the E770 but better features in everything, except design. The one i will buy

Of course you can see if you have a missed call by pressing the volume key a few second, but then it is easier just to open the flip...Why can't they make a tiny icone just like the one for the message ? Stupid Samsung !
Photos and video really great for such a small phone. Ringtones too soft

i had this phone since march 2006, i dont hav any problems with it except that i have a few minor gripes, the camera is slow when set at max resolution, and i cant download games into it, can someone tell me where i can download java games that Samsung SGH-E770 supports? i've tried a lot of websites and they all say that this phone is not supported. MP3 player is only average having a max of 30 songs per playlist and you cannot add playlist to the phone. Battery life is good and the design rocks. Tell me where can i download java games for my phone for free. tnx.

For all those claiming that you cannot view missed calls on the external screen, try a continuous press on the lower volume key (side) and the screen will light up and show any missed call. In case its a message, the message icon will show alongside the name of the sender.

Hi, I've had the samsung e770 about 6 months, its a good fone i do like it, but there are a few faults with it.
You dont get missed calls on your outer display, you have to flip the fone to see them.
You cant change your message tone to something of your own.
Now for some reason mine seems to switch itself off even when it says the battery is full.
I used the cable too from the D600 just downloaded the drivers from samsung website for the e770 and it worked perfectly.

Al try to answer a few Qs on this phone. Advantages- EDGE, supports AAC format of music, u can minimise media player. extra memory, picsel file viewer.
Disadvantages-U cant fastforward/cue a song, playlists are only 4 with each a maximum of 30 so 120 songs max. U can have more than 120 songs but only 120 can be added to mediaplayer's playlist.
As for missedcalls and messages, they can be seen on the secnod screen as well.

bought this phone almost a month ago everything else is fine but the battrey charges its self without any electrical connection is this normal or is there a problem with my phone?Pliz help coz l really want to keep my phone fell so much inlove with it

Great phone, BUT; it has a very poor signal reception. I was out of city with friends, they had 3 Nokia and a LG, they were all able to talk in good quality while my phone was shoving NO SERVICE!!! Second bad thing is; it doesn't show missed calls on outer screen. Third is sound quality is not so good, because it uses earphone as the ringer mean while. Fourth is; Mic sensitivity is average only. Beneath these, very nice design and features, nice cam and video, phonebook, mail and internet support wiht Edge etc. which you can see in technical spects.

bought this phone 3 days ago...this is the best i had so far...only 2 slight problems though...the reception is a little lower that other phones and the speaker could have been louder...but hey...nothing is perfect...camera clean!!!video quality,,,DAMN the best of the best...there is also a slot for memory card...this phone is the SH!T!!!!

Soft Volume but smooth on the head set,
If the FM Radio is available will be much better.
