no it hasnot got the feature of infra red .. it has the feature of bluetooth only.

Really great phone!
Does anyone know how to disable the voice mail?
there's nothing in all the options to turn voice mail off.
and voice mail gets quite annoying when ppl don't leave their number. i mean i prefer missed calls much better.

hei im already using the mobile N70. now im changing my mobile .is it E840 good in resolution and i want to know whether i have the option of themes.if E840 is best means in what way it is best. so mail me as early as possible.whether i can save the tracks in my memory card. thanks those who clarifying my doubts.

i brought this cell as a gift for my mother... the cell is gr8 in time thanks she liked it ....... but im having a tuff time changing my settings around. HOW can you take out the xylophone sound on the main menue/pickup/hangup buttons things NOT the dialing number.. cause everytime i touch it makes that annoying xylophone sound or that irritating sound? i mean can it just have a simple tone or no tone at all? yes mind i i dont wanna change the theme.. and where can i get more themes.. pls text me on my ID

Hi!I bought this fone last week,its a good one of samsung except few things 1.Much sensitive keys on front2.SMS goes direct in box3.End call button follwed by i key 4.Low volume of player

The E840 is one of the best mobiles I surely recommand this elegant mobile, best features include the camera and the polyfonic ringtones.

hello people, i am finally the happy owner of a E 840. I went out to buy the D900i but it wasnt in stock so i ended up getting a e840, rejecting a d840, and boy am i glad that i did it. O f course i am still experimenting with the handset, but lut me tell you folks who are reading this, that people have exgagereted about the review of the E 840. Believe me it is a wonderful phone and i know this since i have used s40,s60 s80, SE and Motorola, Ericsson and even a Sendo X. Read it below
Resolution: better than all the nokia phones, does not seems tooo bright
Battery: 1.5 to 2 days, which is good for average to heavy calling and apps. I used the 6233 b4 this and if my batt lasted 3 days it meant i have listened to music.
Feather touch controls: best in the class for this money, i paid Rs. 9000 or $225.I may be an advanced user having used samsung b4 but believe me it does not take more than a day getting used to it.
Music and sound: office goers have to keep the ringer at 2 or 3,, much too loud beyond that . music load time may take 3-4 secs but playback is smooth.
FM radio is superb, havent tested the browser, am using a 1 gb Lexar McSD, and believe me it does not slow up the phone, looks is the main reason why u shud get his phone, very zany for the executives, unisex phones, only for the delicate or nimble handed, ...Whew,,all for now.. More later. Meanwhile go ahead and buy the phone without any fear and do not be afraid to experiment. there's life outside Nokia and SE. Happy buying. Cheers...

Hey Vik.. I have put songs in Music folder only of memory card (one that phone crated by default) but when i try to add songs in a playlist it does not give me option to select songs which are kept in memory card but shows only the songs which are in music folder of phone memory!!
Plz give a bit of detail hw to put songs frm memory card as i m really getting frustrated by this limitation... :-(

I am great mobile phone fan. I have a hobby to purchase a lot of mobiles. I had very unpleasant feeling after purchasing this phone. Very poor touch sensitive controls. Poor D-Pad. Poor Music playing. Fed up with this set after two days of use.
