I've had my phone since May 06 and it's never frozen on me, so it maybe is something to do with your sim card. Either that or you do have a faulty phone. Maybe you should contact Samsung, see what one of their technicians say. They might be able to replace it. I've definitely had no problems with my phone anyway.

And i don't think it's a big phone either, it's certainly not huge. It's small and dinky, very slim and easily fits into a pocket (unless you have teeny weeny pockets) looks a bit like an ipod. It's so small i've lost it sometimes!! :)

To give an example of freezing - you lose network and the phone displays "searching" which is normal, but thats where it stays until you switch the phone off and then on again to get a signal. Or if you put on silent and then try to use another function the phone will switch off or lose "network" and display "limited service" only. Anyone else had similar problems? I've been told that it might be because my sim card is old and needs replacing?

This phone works with EasyStudio3 on the PC
The data cable is an USB cable you can buy from Samsung. Works great

Reply to below, the photos are saved in the phone menory in default and this setting can't be changed. u have to move your photos manually to your SD card to clear space. u can either connect your phone to your PC with Blue-tooth or USB Cable. Do take note that the USB cable for this phone seems to be different from the others.

I am going to purchase this phone tmrw and i was wondering if anyone knows the following

                    1. Do you pictures save automatically to your microSD card or can you set it too?

                    2. How can you connect it to the computer to transfer photo's and such?

Does anyone know where i can buy any software for this phone? I've seen the phones for sale complete with software cd and usb cable, but they weren't included when i bought my phone. I've bought a dongle, which is fine if i want to transfer pictures etc from my phone to my laptop, but for some reason i can't transfer anything from my laptop to the phone. I'm wondering if anyone knows where i can buy a USB cable and the software cd so i can transfer MP3 files to my phone.

Sending picture messages (MMS) is really easy and straightforward, so if your phone is saying 'service unavailable' it sounds like you might have to contact T-Mobile as it might need them to set it up for you. I had that problem on another phone, i had to ring O2 and they had to set it up, as my phone at the time wasn't set up to send or receive MMS.

So the best thing to do is ring T-Mobile, i'm sure it's something simple that they can do, then you're away sending picture messages like they're going out of fashion!! :o)

does anybody know how to delete "RECENT RECIPIENTS" in the text messaging option? it gets confusing when you've sent texts to a lot of people, you have to scroll down and search for the person you want to send to. I just want to delete all the recent recipients and keep maybe one or two. Any help will be appreciated!

Automatically your first 20 SMS will be saved to your sim card (it will only take 20), then any following will be saved to your phone. It's possible to move SMS from sim to phone, and vice versa (if you have the space on your sim). If your sim is full and you want to move an SMS from your phone, you'll have to make room on your sim by moving some SMS to the phone. To do that you'll need to open one of the SMS stored on your sim (you'll see the little grey symbol at the right hand side of the message in the inbox). When the SMS is open click on options, scroll down to 'move to phone' and press select. The SMS will then be saved to your phone. Then you do the same thing to an SMS you want transferring from phone to sim.

Sorry if this seems long-winded, i'm pants at explaining things! :) Hope it helps a bit anyway.

And to the person asking about wallpapers, it sounds like you might need to contact Samsung, as i'm not sure why it won't accept your pics as the wallpaper. It should do, so maybe there's a problem with your phone. Go onto the samsung mobile website and use the 'contact us' bit, ask them a question about it and they'll email you back within a day or two. I've emailed them a couple of times with queries and they've been really helpful and sorted me out.

That's exactly what I did, but it still doesn't show as a wallpaper, just a empty blank blue background.
