How do you make your text messages to be saved on your phone instead of the sim card and vice versa?

To set a photo as wallpaper, find the photo/picture you want, go to options, scroll down to number 3 'Set As', press the right arrow key and select where you want the photo (main display on the phone or on the cover when you close the phone). Click ok, come out of the pictures and you should see your photo as your wallpaper.

What i really like about this phone is the ability to lock away texts and pictures/files so nobody can read/see them if they pick up your phone. I never had this option on my previous phones. Now nobody can see my SMS/pics unless they know my pin number, i love it!!! :)

Does anyone know how to fix the wallpaper problem? I can't use photos I've taken with the E870 as a wallpaper, or pictures that I sent to my cell phone from my PC. It just shows blank blue background when I try. The only wallpapers I can use if the wallpapers that came with the cell phone.

Do you think the battery is used up very quickly? For example, It is fully charged in the morning and it is already low in the next day afternoon. This is my 2nd same style phone already because my first one had the same problem and I changed it. It doesn't sound normal??

just press 'OK' button after you finish writing the sms to 'save and send' the text message. it will be saved to sent box folder automatically.

For those of your bitchin about the phone camera quality, you're picking at thin air. Invest in a decent digital camera with flash and a SD card and you're set.

Now ..you can enjoy occasional, non professional photos on ya samsung phone and maybe professional looking photos on your camera(mines a samsung!)

                Cheers!

That's strange, shouldn't the USB data cable came along with the phone package? Mine came with the box.

i really like this phone its great, i have no problem with the camera i think its pretty good enough for me, obviously not the best quality but way better than my last 1 mp camera phone, i love the 3d vivd messaging thats worth a look.
the person with problems with the messages in sent box, they are only saved if when you go to send a message you click the send and save option, hit the send only option if oyu dont want it saved

does anyone know where i can get a usb data cable for this phone, many places dont make one and say i have to use bluetooth only,, which takes forever to download files!!!

For anyone thinking about getting this phone for its camera.

This is not the phone for you, the camera is less than average in my opinion. I did a thorough comparison today with nokia 7610, both are 1+ megapixel. e870 is way more blurry in the highest picture quality regardless of object and lighting. 7610 is more than a year old and it still beats 870.

So if camera is what you're looking for than this a bit stylish phone isn't for you but no other complains about this phone.

                        4TFY:
My headset works perfectly fine I don't have the problem you're having. Did you mute the call (When in a call, go to menu and make sure it's not VOICE OFF)

                        4tjZ:
my phone keeps everything I sent (i only use sms) in the SENT BOX automically. I didn't change the settings and I can't find a setting for that too.

Can anyone help me verify the following problem I posted here a couple of days ago?

                          ----
When the headset is cennected to the cellphone, I can hear the other person's voice but when I am speaking on the microphone, the person can NOT hear my voice.
                          ----

                          Thanks

Just click on the buttons(volume-up/down) to zoom, in and out. These are the buttons on the left of the phone, with up/down arrows.

                                : )

It's probably the headset problem, not your phone. Try connecting it with another headset. If this doesn't solve the problem, look for your warrenty card.

The settings of the GPRS, MMS etc are depending on the country and subscriber that u are in and u have subscribed to. Maybe someone from your country can help u.

The PC studio can be used without the Internet connection; however, once it is connected, the software will download a bunch of updates. What symptoms do you have? The software cannot recognize the phone or anything else?

As my understanding, yes, the battery icon on the screen is the only indicator of remaining battery capacity.
