Wow thanks alot 4TGb.=) but can the cover of the MicroSD still fits well when closed after cutting those protruding plastic? Will they be loose? Thanks again for correcting me on those 2 points. =)
Reply to Below: The phone in the picture is Sliver. Sms that can be stored on your phone is determine by the storage capacity of your SIM card.
I see some other countries do sells black color of this phone... it's very nice too.

Reply to the second below:
1. I can listen to MP3 stored in the MicroSD card with the phone closed. Add music files to an "album list" and try again.
2.The cover can be closed completely after you "cut" two small protruding posts (do not know how to call them) located at the bottom of the cover, where ther are about four such things. Not a big deal though.

Here's some additional CONS of the phone.
u can't listen to mp3 that are stored in your MicroSD Card with your phone "closing". This is really annoying.
The "cover" that covers up the MicroSD card slot CAN'T be closed when a card is sloted in. Damn this is so stupid.
But still I like the phone alot... =)

I just bought the E870 a couple of days ago from a U.S. retailer. I had done some research before buying and this phone met all my expectations with addition to its small size and fashionable design. The digital camera is OK but not great; other than that, I am satisfied with most decent functions as what people have said.
About the battery life, it lasted for 2 and half days after I played 5 MP3 songs, made 10-minute-long phone calls, transfered files through Bluetooth "over" 40 minutes, and spent some time playing with the phone.

to the guy who bought the phone for S$110. where did you buy the phone from? i tried looking for cheap ones and they were still quite ex. considering the fact that i am still a student, and it cost me around $500. ): sad case.

I just bought this phone in the Valentine Pink and it's a really nice looking phone. It's got a decent camera, bluetooth, expandable memory, also comes with a phone strap, head phones, wall charger and USB cable. The only problem I have had with it is that I can't change the keypad tones, they all sound the same, but I think that might be a fault only in my particular handset. Otherwise it is a ver sexy and small phone, particularly for women!

I've had this phone for about a month now - the battery life on mine is fine, although I don't use the mp3 player that often (I have an iPod) but I love this phone! The camera is great and the bluetooth if great. My only major complaint is that when you dial, the numbers on the screen are HUGE and there's no way to minimize this. Oh well, I still think the phone is great.

Just brought it for S$110. It's nice n cheap. yeah the camera shutter speed is kinda slow. The phone is kinda lag as well compare to other Samsung phones. Too bad it only support MicroSD, it's the most expensive among all sorts of memory cards. =( btw, my battery finished within a day! is that normal? i only played 6 songs with its speaker and the batt finished within18 hours!

This phone is nice, well designed in my opinion. The camera is decent among other 1.3 megapixels. The flash comes in handy only in close range. It also doubles as a flashlight.
The phone plays mp4 flawlessly.
The mp3 player is, again, decent among other mp3 phones.
The phone can play both video/audio from memory card.
The screen is about average. Samsung T809 has the best screen I've seen on a cell phone.
Other features on the phone are great.
I have no complaints for this phone.
Some might say it's a girl phone...but what's girlish about this phone?

the phone is a chic phone and is great for people who want something small and light. however, the applications still seem quite simplistic and are compareable to the time when the nokia 3390 was out. the camera also sucks cause there is a huge lag time on it. the graphics are ok, but for games and such, it is terrible, reminds me the old 8-bit atari games...
