Turns out the E878 is a crappier Chinese firmware version of the E870 so basically you get no voice recon with it. So would anyone know where I can get the E870 firmware to overwrite the E878 one.

I recently bought the E870 but it was shipped from Hong Kong so I have the E878 version. I have two questions for this phone: How can I change the regional settings because when I open my phone it says China and I want it to say Canada because I think its messing with my voice dialing. If the regional setting has nothing to do with voice dialing(I thought it might had something to do with it because of the languages the voice dialing recognizes) For some reason when I follow the manuals instructions, I go into Menu and Applications I don't have the Voice Dialing menu option that the manual says should be there. Would anyone know why?

hi guys,
i heard that this phone only offers vibrate, THEN ring, not vibrate AND ring for when calls come in, and that it seems kind of useless because by the time the phone finally starts 2 vibrate the call goes to voicemail and you can't catch it. i know a lot of the time when i'm on the bus or something i can't hear my phone, but i can feel it, so having it vibrate and ring is really important to me. any feedback? thanx!

It may look like its deisnged for a girl, however the big buttons and easy readability make it easier for males to use. I dont know about you but i hate the tiny buttons that are common on most phones.

I never have problems with the reception on my phone either, it's almost always on full reception.
The phone will save sent messages if you want it to. When you've typed an SMS and you go to send, it gives you the option of either just sending it without saving, or you can save and send, so just pick the option you want. I always do save and send, it's just easier that way, then i can delete my sent once i know they've definitely got where i wanted them to go :)

Does this phone automatically save messages to a 'Sent Messages' folder? If not, is there an option to have it do so?

Ive had this phone since october as well as many of my other friends and ive never had better reception. I think maybe you should contact your company and/or just get a new phone because i don't see anyone else complaining about this.
Very good phone. Probably my best phone yet!

The reception on this phone is horrible. I've had it for 7 months. Anytime I put it next to my pebl the peble has full or half signal, and this phone has half or 0 signal respectivly. So be careful!

Can you transfer the songs you download onto your computer to the phone? and do you know if its compatible with T mobile?

Yes the phone does have privacy. There's the option of privacy for: the whole phone; "my files" (photos/videos/music etc); text messages; or text messages & "my files" both together, which is what i use. Very handy!!!!! :)
