Can someone PLEASE tell me how to turn off the stupid tone that plays when i send a text? ( yes even when its on silent) or, does this only happen to me???

Yhh its true. I has 3 Samsung slide phones and all three of thems screen went blank white. I had to replace the ribbon which costs 25 pounds. Samsung are poor quality phones!

1.Firstly plug-in your 3.5mm jack to your phone.Don't unplugged your earphone.
2.Turn off you phone or restart it.
3.On the power.and then,unlugged the earphones and plug again phone until the beep sound u will hear
it.
4.That's all.Hope is solve my problem.

im having the same problem. please help regarding the 3.5mm jack. if i plug my headphone trough the multi function jack, it work. but i the phone seems couldnt detect my headphone plug it in my 3.5mm jack.. please help. i really love this phone. please help.

im having a slight problem.. please help me out here.
if i plug my headphone through my 35mm jack, how come it didn't work. it only work through the multi funtion jack.. please help.. please.. i just bought this phone a week ago.

dear friends!i had thi fone 3 months now since the launch in greece.super fone!quality sound ,nice batery 3-4 days,fast and never stuck!!!!!!!!!yet.what else are you wait ?

it comes with an 2gb memory card, the front camera cant take pics, if you press the button on the side when using your phone it will take you to music player so be carefull, and the ribbon can go fault7y on anyphone it just depends on how you treat it, hope that answers your questions

Hi there, i bought this brand new fone at samsung store in manila phils.the fone works great on me, the music is good also. i just want to know if theres an issue with this fone that sometimes when in idle mode or typing sms, my fone monitor always go to media player, its like when you slide up the phone.but after a while it goes back to the main thats why you have to go back to sms to check your mssg in outbox folder.
other thing is the batt life is not good because i only used this fone for texting but the batt doesnt last up to 24hrs. it is normal?

Anonymous, 08 Jan 2009i just bought this phone today.. cheers.. really love it..... moreYou need to drain the battery until the phone goes off, and charge it for a minimum of 8 hours. When I say drain, i mean play music, keep it on all the time. Repeat this process about 3 times. Hope that helps. :)

just use your fone in melody mode donot use vibration to longer ur battery life to turn off the keypad tone go to profile and then edit and then go to phone sound to turn off the keypad tone
