I have got this AMAZING phone :)
the camera, unless its what youre realllly after, there is nothing wrong with it.
the sound :) perfect.
it looks.. beautiful.
Themes and backgrounds :) pretty awsome.
Although.. there is just one SMALL thing thats really annoying me; even when the phones on silent, it still makes an annoying sound when i send a text :( its really inconvenient particulary when i'm at college. can someone PLEASEEEEEE help me with this?
Overall though :) best phone ever :) another amazing phone from samsung.

I recently bought a samsung f400 and I can say that its a superb phone! the style, the camera, its dual slide system and audio quality. However, can anyone tell me how to turn off the keypad tones? tnx.

i had nokia 6288, it's "ribbon" gets broken easily, the screen/lcd screwed up. they said, because it's a slide up phone, so how about this f400? you think the "ribbon" will also mess up easily because, ah, it's slide up? please. i planning to get f400 soon, but im kinda of hesitating.

Hi my personal experience with this phone is an execellent choice. Why?...because I know what I want. I want a good camera delivery (F400 has a 3.2 mega pix),and a good music sound quality (F400 has B&O amps build in), need I say about the quality???. See my point is every mobile phone serves it's purpose but some is a bit problematic. The F400 is a fantasticaly fast and stable. So far I have no problems with the batt life span. It last for about 4 day or so with my music playing for around 45-1 hour and call time with almost 1 hour or so per day. So it's a tiny gadget with giant offers

alright timothy, i dont use my headphones at all and only listen to music prob 5 mins a day, could be my battery, to the other person ; the phone does have another camera for video calling.

Anyone know how to turn off the little tone it makes when you send a text? And how to keep the flash turned on permanently, not just for a photo?

Use good earphones and the audio quality on this thing is simply marvelous! Camera's auto-focus is effective, but slow - no biggie. Overall, the phone is very functional and people who complain about the screen's reflexion in sunlight are sissies. The only problem to this phone is the very limited internal space (about 20 mb). It should have included wi-fi and the mp3 player can be a hassle when you have too many songs because the rotative pad is not as efficient as on an iPod say. But overall, I love this phone.

hey shady, my battery runs out pretty fast as well. But i suspect it might be due to the 3.5mm earphones they we connect to the phone. some earphones use more power, usually the higher end kinds with better bass, or magnets. when I switched to a pair of seinheisers, my batt doesnt even last two days, and I only listen to music a max of 2 hours out of those 2 days, on top of calls and smses. So batt life could be directly linked to the earphones we use it with.
