man i was really going to buy this one, but the f700 came out and rock this.... the f700 has the same video quality the ipod video has... man that crushes it. i dont know which one i want..

what a gorgeius device with real video in an almost ipod esque style,wether it will hit the uk is debatable but i for one am sold;!Altho dvb handheld is yet to start in uk till next year @ the earliest i hope it will emerge since the n92 has not...plus also the usual batterys of samsung dont usually perform well and as yet there is no times for this device

On mobile arena it says that the phone is going to be almost like it not necessarily the same one. It will be a model only changed into cdma not gsm so if you get the phone unlocked you will be able to use it.

I was reading on phonearena.com, and it says the phone is going to be CDMA for sprint...does that mean it wont come onto canadas gsm networks?

Well as far as I am concern, Samsung phone do not lack features instead these phones have a unique features that Nokia and SE does not have on thier phones such as picsel viewer, tv out,SOS, tracking, ability to change wallpapers automatically in regards to what place are you in and the ability to set your message alert to (vibrate or ring then vibrate with repetation features if you are not able to open your incoming message), this can be done without affecting your ringtone alert type, meaning message alert in on vibration while ringtone alert is normal (ringing only) alert. Does Nokia and SE can do that?.

Agree totally with another comment posted here: Samsung has a very strong combination of
Quality & Design, on these points it is perhaps the best in the biz. However the software is sometimes a real pain to use and it's certainly lacking in features compared to Nokia & Sony Ericsson (motorola does not hold anything against these).

I cant wait for the phone to come out i'm going to buy it the day it drops. The Mp3 on the back side of the phone is genius. GOOD JOB SAMSUNG!!!!!

Well, what models were sold most in france and what models of nokias sold the most??
do you even know? Look at the promotions and the prices that the majority of phone holders have, that should give you a clear answer why most people have nokias or motorolas. Don't forget to include China which holds mostly mid price phones due to affordabiity.

This phone rocks. All you people who hate this phone...I have no idea what kind of taste these people have. It is obvious they have some bitter feelings about samsung and eastern technology.
So they voice their opinions here and dish out their negative points of view that is mostly personal. Get a life. Go get your nokias then, aren't you even embarassed of what you are doing? Are you in high school or an adult...lol

Samsung make excellent hardware and great looking phones. Unfortunately the software sucks. I hate the way you select who to send a text message to. And the fact you can only choose one of their message alerts. I hope the new phones change all that.
