Well, it is real simple. The reason samsung phones won't be the most popular is because majority of people in the world can't afford it or only have access to a few models suich as the United States. It is so political what they want to bring in. Most of all it is an high end brand. It only caters to the higher range category of phones and customers. Only companies such as motorolas and nokias will gain popularity with their phones since they are cheaper and thats what most of the world can afford..mid prices!!
High end phones such as samsung will be for that certain group. You know who you are. Samsung is the leader though in cell phone technology when not counting the amount of people who has them.
They are the leaders in innovation and this technology and so much more.

SAMSUNG really rocks, from photos to videos and has a unique mp3 players. Samsung phones has big and user helpful icons and fonts plus out of this world interfaces which are fun/ fashion and very different from SE and NOkia.
The cons of the SE which i realy do not like is that videos taken by the camera and music videos downloaded from the computer sucks big time, believe me very disappointing i could really cry at the corner. It cannot even handle a 3gp file very well while mp4 file freezed big time. Sceen are small and icons and fonts are not user helpful because everything are small and untidy to look at because of the themes.
Nokia N series are good symbian phones but slow and you cannot even insert a number from a phonebook while texting plus you cannot even extract a number sent by a text message to be saved in a contact list. Videos are very acceptable but lesser than the SAMSUNGs.

SAMSUNG might produce good phones, but they dont popularize. whine all u can but SAMSUNG is not popular in phones. dont care about tvs and somethings, there's sony for that, so sucks much. yes, SUCK==SASMSUNG

THis phone was introdeuced at the CES and the Telecom ITU show in Japan.
South Korea freakin is rockin in technology. No wonder sony wanted to team up with samsung to improve some of their products.

Nokia phones are better. This phone is a very stupid ideea. I like that the phone suports avi files but at the desing he has to recover. I think that this stupid ideea of a phone with 2 sides is the D*mest Ideea that a man could have.if you want a good phone wait a little and buy a Nokia N95 or some of the phones in the N series. I hate samsuns [ alwais lacks something:( ].If you want a phone buy a SE or a Nokia never a Samsung!!!

Samsung make better phones in Asia. Why? Because THEY HAVE BETTER TECHNOLOGY THAN ANYONE ELSE. USA is slow. So if you want cool looking phone with everything move to Japan or Korea and stop whining. Oh ya, who the hell cares about radio.

Oh. I like samsung very much. SAMSUNG is much better than Nokia and Motarola, I think. Little expensive, but it worths buying.

How could anyone say samsung lacks in features.
Do you even know anything about cell phone technology in the east?
Some phones have certain features and others not.
The western phones cannot compare to the phones in asia.
This phone for example packs 3G, EDGE and networks UTMS, GSm...also a thin phone like this packs a 2MP, organizers and all that jazz...USB..I mean this phone is just insanely impressive at its size. Not too mention the clarity.
Did you even know the son of Nokia is in South Korea to learn about the cell phone technology there.
I can't even believe these new motorolas that came out don't even have 3G or EDGE.
What is up with that??
NOt only that, they don't even work properly.
I purchased one last year becasue of the loud speaker phone which is nice when I am driving but they can't hear me very clearly when I speak and it is so slow in processing things...
I can go on and on...

hey lucky i saw the pictures of this device there's another screen in the back of the phone and that side is the "phone" part and the front that we see is the "multimedia" part and there is the whole keypad, menu buttons in the back side of the phone

Its not the right place but well here are my thoughts.
D830: No Flash, Camera cant be use for self portrait( no mirror, external screen is not big enough), there are some issues with the keypad not being good enough for heavy use.
E900: Slik design. However some people found it hard to handle the touch sensative buttons.
The rest are pretty much same. Personally I would go for E900.

and i dont care if it doesnt get that loud...its descent and looks fab.umlike some that has all the features but doesnt fit the pocket or the hand haha! =p
also thats y digicam and mp3 players,laptops are invented---seperate it from the cellphone

samsung always has great technology but it lacks in features !! asians always has taste for great fones, like hir in d philippines !!

If you dont like Samsung..just don't buy it.
Stick with your Nokias or Motorolas...
Maybe...these anti samsung people should just go to asia and learn some things.
If not...quit whining. We don't even want you to have any asian technology.
Tell you the truth...I don't think Samsung really cares if they are on top or not. If they end up being on top then I am sure they are happy but as of now...they are busy.
In korea as well as Japan..cell phones are used for gtransprotaion, credit cards, Identification and I could go on and on...
The TV's on cell phones came out in asia way back in 2003.
So stick with your new razr's or something,
quit whining.

The phone's keypad is on the back. There is a smaller color LCD on the back side with numbers and a normal Cell mic and earphone. The smaller LCD has a 'mini' interface that resembles the black interface on the D900 Carbon model. The phone is intended to be a PMP/GSM phone. It plays avi, mp4, etc... the bottom portion with the media navigation swivels and allows you to prop the phone up at a nice angle.

Yes Samsung will never be on top as long as they dont make Cheap phones like Nokia or motorola does. Its those countries like China/India where cheap models are popular and people mostly use infrared not bluetooth. Post some sourse that says blutooth sucks up battery.
I'm using Samsung for long time and I can say the same way that even I find those cheap Nokias not to be User frinedly..dont even wanna mention about Motos UI. And please dont talk about Nokias camera. Other than a few N-series its no match with Samsung. I can post source to prove that.
