can someone tell me where i can find a qwerty f700 instead of an azerty f700. the sites listed all have azerty and not a qwerty.

I have had this phone for a couple of weeks now...generally it is a good phone. A little hard to get used to but works fine.
The only problem I have is that when trying to hang up a call, sometimes it will not let me. The screen goes black (I have changed the standby options) it will not allow me to bring the screen back and hang the call up!! any help would be appreciated

@philm i think you will find the orignal spec released from samsung had the f700 with wifi and a 5mp camera... closer to the release date this changed... this is supported by the fact the f490 if near enough the same housing has the 5mo camera.. and there is rumours of coming model with wifi. try looking over to mobile review for the info

i got the fone today and had a mess about with it before giving it a good 12 hour charge..The f700 even in earlier spec never had wifi or auto rotate but we new that its just rumour spreaders..
The biggest letdown after bluetoothing over a few mp3s is their is no equaliser,,surround sound,,or any adjustment what so ever...
Next after agood charge am going to do a mp3 non stop test to get some battery life results..Screen is typical lucid vibrant samsung and level 2 briteness was ok for me and i set it to 900/1800 gsm settingfor extra life only go to 3g for downloading and web..
I found the qwerty keypad ok and its backlight in white..
Nice glossy blue soap bar design and its classed as metallic blue on my box but it looks black to me???
Will get back with more results at later date

Have not received the phone yet but have played with one in a vodafone shop. There seems to be lots saying yes it does have wi fi and lots saying no - having played with one I can confirm that there is NO wi fi on the phone and the screen does NOT rotate - so those of you that seem to think it does can you check your model number or up to date specs for a reality check - other than that the phone does everything I wanted it to - including sync with outlook - Samsung tech were very helpful there and I havent even got the phone yet" cant wait till tomorrow when it arrives

I am getting this as my free upgrade and at present using n958gb..I have been thru most of n-series and looking to this as something refrehing to take with me as a multimedia device with DECENT camera and reasonable video record..
I have been looking round the net and because its so new not many UP-TODATE specs and reviews exist yet?? Most annoying is the i-phone killer quote continuing throughout the web on virtually any touchscreen device!!
I use vodas web bolt on and this has hsdpa for speed yet most go on about wi-fi yet only at home or in very expensive 12.5 minute hotspots can you get wi-fi so is no use to me ..O.K. to balance the eqation hsdpa is still rare and 3g is still not at 98% coverage but at least i am online all the time except for tunnels on the train..
The i-phone is no good for me as poor cam,no video record or 3g so its no good to me and i am not stupid enuf to that much for a device were i am told what to do with it..FOR example £35 per month for 18 month lock to 02 with a £280 initial fee..and then told the f700 is the poor mans i-phone,,wat makes that device so good its really just an internet tablet for which the i-phone is in serious competition with many other better and cheaper products with sim free options or buy it and its yours to keep with NO restrictions..
POOR mans i-phone the cheek of it!!! the i-phone is the poor mans samsung f700....
Subject to non juddery video recording i am looking forward to getting the device this week to keep and any comments on the way about it been second rate to i-phone is going to get an earfull and a complete rundown of how you have been charged the earth for a screen with a childs camera attached

Samsung F700 is one of the best devices I've ever seen, and - believe me - I've been interested in them for a very long time. iPhone is not even as half good as F700.
I can see only three weeknesses - no GPS, no Wi-Fi and weak battery. He should also become an operating system, but NOT WINDOWS MOBILE!

I have seen pre-launch specs/diagrams for this phone and it was supposed to have wifi and a 5Meg camera. Not sure why the dropped the ideas, would have have made it a killer phone!

ieuf. Now look down and to your left under the picture of this phone. That's it good boy the word specification's, now click on that and read what it say's about the camera. It say's 3.15. Next lesson is on how to tie your shoe's.

can anyone tell me maximum video record size,,is it the usual cif i.e. 352 288 pixels in mpeg 4 fiormat..thanx..
May get this as free upgrade next week,bother wifi just get vodas £7.50 web bolt on =120mb,just want it for big screen photo, plus video,and hope it has usual samsung quality screen with vivid colours and decent brightness
