Phone died on me a... moreyour phone was damaged by water probably ... water felt on it for sure ... i used my phone at the bath avoiding water to fall on it .. it works even in air with high humidity .. in such conditions you must protect the weak places like backplate with place for dynamics near camera , and some places near touchscreen ... you did not respected the terms of use and your phone died .. mine works in such air with humidity ... this phone is great anyway so dont tell us lies .... it has hi specs and it passes crash tests easily ...

Phone is ok, can't download ring tones. Phone died on me after 2 months. Send for repair...phone died as a result of getting wet. Apparently, or so I was told, this phone is so sensitive to moisture that if it comes in the bathroom with you when you take a shower you can trigger the sensor, or if there is a lot of humidity in the air the sensor will also trigger. Since I KNOW I never dropped the phone in water. I never would have gotten the phone had I known this since I now have an $89 phone to replace this $600 phone and have 2 years and 10 months left in a contract with it. Not impressed at all!!

i own this phone and i do love it.
Pros:
1. The marketplace is a piece of cake and very easy to search for apps in it and easy to install.
2. The people hub holds all contacts of friends and can easily switch between them/contact them on fb/email/text.
3. the touch experience is amazing and very responsive.
4. integration with xbox live... you name it!
cons:
1. wish facebook was integrated inside the system instead of individually loading fb contacts and linking them to msn ones.
2. camera doesn't capture images in wide screen... for me a big con :(
3. battery lasts for one day only, although i'm not a heavy user at all.
4. no equalizer in zune player.

I love my phone with a passion. Camera is amazing, battery is decent, lots of apps to choose from, works well with internet and Facebook, text messages are in IM form which I LOVE(easy to see what they said previously and just ahh), also can hold music, calendar is very good, and many other things.
I only have a few issues with it.
1- You can't personalize/buy ringtones. You chose from what they have, that's it. I was very disappointed with that.
2- While texting I've noticed that it often freezes in the middle of a text and I have to lock and unlock the phone in order to get it to unfreeze. It is veryyyy annoying, especially during a long text.
3- Opening screen. I like how we can pick a picture to put as our lock backround, but I wish we had a better way to personalize our locks. The only option is a 4 number code.
(this isn't really bad, but just would make it better)
A few tips-
THE BACK BUTTON, it can be your best friend! Say you are in the middle of a long text but need to check Facebook or take a picture, you can do these things then push the back button until you get back to your original text looking exactly the way it did when you left it.
I think it only lets you go back like 6 or 7 times, but still it's great.
The camera.
I randomly noticed that it had started making the flash noise again(it hadn't been doing it before). It was annoying because I could no longer take pictures when I needed to be quiet. It didn't stop even if my phone was on vibrate or silent.
What tends to make mine go back to silent is if I turn the volume all the way up and go to youtube and watch a random video and then in the middle turn the sound all the way down til it's on vibrate. That tends to make the flash noise stop. You may have to try a few times, but it usually works.
You'll have to redo it EVERY time you turn the sound up though. Kinda frustrating but worth it in the long wrong.

i own this phone and it rocks ... best phone ever ... and 1 more .. phones are not ready for dual cores .. beceause power eficiency here is better and the games are not the best on phones but even at 1ghz they run perfectly ... great phone and performance ... good job samsung and a lot of respect for super-amoled..

Well i've had this phone for a few weeks now and so far i absolutely love it. The screen produces crisp colours and the blacks are so black that you cant tell where the screen ends when its dark. Windows phone 7 is great, very responsive and intuitive. The only downside of this phone is sometimes big games take around 3-5 seconds to load (need for speed) and it is a little difficult to find a good case

The Samsung Focus is a very organized and very well put together phone! I do really like this phone from my experience with it. Just make sure to read EVERYTHING before doing anything to the phone. It is a great phone for younger adults like me. You should definitively get this phone if you are looking for a good phone for business and play.

The phone is using an out dated chipset Samsung should of putthe hummingbird Chooser or the newer 2nd Gen snapdragon chipset like MSN with the adreno 205 andbettrr overclockablity

Overall: Terriable phone.
Pros:
8gigs of internal memory
many apps and games
Cons:
Freezes.
Its a Windows 7 Phone thus it can not get ringtones nor ringbacks.

am interested in buying the focus. just want to know how usable this fone is without wifi/3g access. I realize the UI depends a lot on internet access and unfortunately I only have access to a meagre edge/gprs for most of the day and wifi at night. Can some focus owners tell me if this phone is still fast irrespective of the internet speed and whether it becomes a useless brick for just calling, texting and office!!
I am mainly buying this fone for the music (zune) and would also like to know how well laid out the music player is and how easy it is to sync stuff with zune player. (honestly i tried syncing some items with itunes for the 1st time and OMG, it was soooo rigid). I hope the zune interface is easier to use!!
So someone out there should just give me an honest user opinion (aside all those WP 7 limitations am aware of). thanks

tats wut i like about WM7, congratulations Samsung and WM7! just brilliant!!
For me, android is for unhappy youth who NEVER happy with their phone, but WM7 just elegance! Im working now and WM7 Operating System just suit me well! I feeled so professional just by having it!
Just Love it!! dun stop pouring those good loveable comment,WM7 rawkkk!! ^^
