I want to buy Samsung Focus...Does ... moreI bought this phone from Amazon in US, then asked a friend to carry it to India. I paid approx Rs. 24000.
This is the best thing i have ever bought. I cant describe how happy i am with this phone. You have to actually use this phone to realise what a fantastic thing it is.... everything about this device is so awesome... and ofcourse Windows Phone 7 rocks, its a superb experience, i can go on and on.... let me stop here.. :)

Anonymous, 01 Apr 2011What do you mean "discharge" the phone?? discharge the phone, means killing the battery completely at first use, then a full 100% charge afterwards, guarantees a strong battery, also dont let the battery drain below 20% and youll get the full power of the battery and a phone that will last 36hrs at full use, and 60hrs on average use, ive personally been able to get 72hrs, by turning brightness down and wifi/bluetooth off while still browsing on the internet frequently

chelsy, 27 Mar 2011does yhis phone have stylus?Hi. You can use a stylus for Samsung Focus, but it is not the same as for a resistive touch screen. They are specially made for capacitive touch screens.
You can order one on the web if you prefer that over using your fingers, but in my opinion it is a waste considering the screens and soft buttons are big enough. If you are worried about finger smudges then I suggest using a screen protector and have some cleaner with a soft cloth handy.

I've had my Focus (from Rogers CA but operating in Australia), for a few days now and just wanted to post about the phone.
It is wonderful!!
Love it - I was able to get NoDo installed on it and afterward Samsung had an update for BT and Samsung Now (their live tile). I have had numerous phones and have to say this is one nice OS and well thought out.
Okay there are customise options that would be great to have, like adding personal ringtones, changing sensitivity of the screen, but I'm sure these will come.
You may have heard, as I have, the interface is 'buttery smooth', (and I thought to myself, yeah right), but it's true!! Clean OS and very fluid.
If you are serious about getting yourself an efficient phone that will let you do everything without fiddling or configuring. If it is for work or play it can handle both very easily - I seriously urge you to get one of these phones.

When taking a pic of yourself, can you see it on the front of the screen? Does it have copy and paste now?!?!?!

Amazing phone. Had a Nokia (5800) before so I would rather try Samsung(the best of the WP7 so far) this time around. Really prefer the WP7 UI more than the symbian(which wasn't too bad, I like the customizi-bility). But WP7 is simple yet convenient especially for heavy social network/email/text users. Look forward to more apps and updates

the battery last anywhere between 1 to 3 days, control how often facebook and email update will help alot, and dont forgot to discharge your phone a few times, makes a world of difference, windows 7 is so easy to use, tpinning everything from contacts to alarm clocks to one-note documents makes using a cell phone so much easier, oh and it does have multitasking, when you open a new app, and click the back button it loads the last spot used in the previous app, not perfect but a great find

I list to music at same time I am playing on it and sending message. It's an awesome phone. Kick iPhone and Android. Good job Ms for that fresh cool UI.

Ultimately, when on the move with public transportation, you may use a pocket sized portable device powered by AA batteries (or rechargeable ones) which has all types of connecting plugs. So, don't worry / be happy!!!
