Anonymous, 02 Jun 2009how do u install google maps on this phone...Hi, I managed to download it via the web browser, it seemed to download fine, however when you go to load it, it gets to three quaters loaded and then goes no further.
Personally I wouldn't bother, however it could just be that my G600 is faulty.

i want to buy this phone as my sony ericsson w810i is only 2mp camera and i want a better one but with all the negative comments for the camera quality am i better just getting a phone with a 3.2 megapix camera and auto focus etc ? i love my sony its perfect bar the camera is just too weak now, ive had it 2 years in november and am unsteady about spending on a new phone already never mind one with such dodgy reviews

Hi.Does anyone know how to speed up the camera.I shoot a picture and the image is taken +_ 6 seconds later.Im sur its a feature setting that i have incorrectly set.I am unable 2 find the setting in the manual.Id really appreciate an experts feedback.Thank u

I have had this phone since December 2008 & have to say, I'm rather disappointed with it.
The camera & music player take ages to load up, the internet browser on it is lousy & when I installed the Mini Opera Browser it fails to work properly. Not only that Google Mail keeps failing and Google Maps doesn't want to load at all.
All in all I think this is the worst phone I have ever owned & several other friends who have also owned the phone also agree.
Perhaps they had a faulty batch of these in East London, I don't know, but it's one I'd avoid to be honest

It's the best phone I've ever had; the amount of times I've dropped it into the bath, and it still works. It's very easy to use too. I want a new phone, a more recent one, but I don't want to get rid of the one I have. A D600 doesnt have the qualities as a G600 does, I know this as my sister used to have this phone. A G600 is slimmer and lighter. Hope I have helped.

hi have one of these phones and i love it only i dropped it and its scrathed(never mind) the camera is great but when its only slightly dark u need to put the flash on and i cant set the flash permanantly

If you have a memory card, the try:
Menu -> Camera -> Right Soft Key -> Settings -> (Picture of the Video Camera) -> Default Storage (Left button twice) -> Memory Card.

Bought this phone for my mum who is 60 years of age. she loves take pictures of her grandchildren. Found that she was not able to permanently set the text style to large. She needs to change the setting each time she used the SMS function.
The text messaging is also a bit too fast at time. if you are a tad slow in picking your letter then the cursor moves forward causing you to make a number of text errors. It is also not easy to switch on the dictionary functionality.
Overall not suitable phone for the novice phone user.

Dude, 19 Apr 2009What a crap phone. i went from nokia to this and boy o boy ... moredude the only stupid thing are the words you write,why you take a samsung when you are a nokia fan?You bye a good phone and if you use it as a phone everything is fine,but if you use as a camera then you are wrong, this is a phone to make conversation take a few pictures send a messages and listen a music.
