lily_s, 14 Apr 2009my cousin wants to buy this phone ,are there any cons about... moreMy opinion is not to buy this phone. I am having this phone from last1 yr. I found some basic disadvantages in this phone:
1. very less customizable. you can't change even keypad lock setting. It locks automatically even when u listening music and to change track or FM station, you first unlock the keypad and then go on.
2. Camera is 5 mp but Nokia n73 have better image quality with only 3.2 mp.
3. You can't set your favorite tone as message ringtone.
4. Slower performance.
5. You can't install any other application even no flash files, java files are supported.
6. No upgraded firmware has been provided for this mobile since last 2 yrs.

guys, need your help...i forgot my password in the security settings, i cant open my messages...what will i do..how can i retrieve my password...haven't use my phone since its only my secondary so i forgot the password i use to unlock my messages...please help!!!

What a crap phone. i went from nokia to this and boy o boy am i dissapointed. the camera doesnt have an image stabilizer, takes crappy pics and i have to charge the phone every day, i only have the phone 4 months and i will rahter use my nokia 1.3mp ca,era phone than this

another question, i've heard that samsung's mobile has lousy battery life, how about this 1??

i hv bn using dis mobile frm december last year.i ve neva had a problem since i bought it.its a awesome mobile i also hv installed numerous software lyk navigator,divx,wma,symbian etc buy dis phone u wil never regret believe me.its beautiful outside yet powerful inside.u cn record 4rm de radio n it also hs equalizer 2 change sound.it hs de flash light.it also has slide show dat moves pic automatical.u cn also edit pic.u cn say many special thngs abt dis mobile device.wat is de maximum gb 4 dis mobile.

have had this phone for nearly 2 weeks now, and the battery life is excellent. charge the phone every 5 days! was a bit worried about buying a samsung again, as my previous samsungs battery needed charging every 2 days! the camera is excellent and glad it is, as this is the reason i bought it. over all, highly recommend it to anyone.

Have had this phone for 18 months now,it has been on site with me,been dropped,sat on ,kicked across the floor(accidently!!!)and still is goes on.The slide action works as smoothly now as it did 18 mths ago.Have never had any problems with this phone, definately the best phone I have ever had.

Screen is like plasma.

Do you have to put the CD in every time you want to transfer files to your PC? Cos i've lost the CD and now it doesn't recognise my phone when I connect it :/
