can anyone tell me if the samsung G600 does have 3g? according to gsm arena it doesn't have 3g but why does it have a camera infront????????????????????

This phone is sooo slippery, it always slips put my hand and off tables, ive dropped it twice in the toilet, thats so not cool

# Goto H/W test > Audio Setting > Goto Normal > Rx PGA > Change value maximum upto 254
# Goto H/W test > Audio Setting > Goto Normal > Rx Vol > Change value of each level by 5-20
value 5-20 means:
you can add anything in between 5 to 20
e.g I added 6,
you may add 8 to each level.
or 20 to each level.
# Goto H/W test > Audio Setting > Goto Normal > HFR gain > Change value maximum upto 20
# Goto H/W test > Audio Setting > MP3 Codec SPK > Increase the value for each level by 6 ((+6) and set the 14th level 254
# Goto H/W test > Audio Setting > MP3 Codec EAR > Set 14th level as 248 and set value for other levels by decreasing the value by 7

I have a problem with the texting speed. I don't use predictive texting but it laggs behind on the letters, to the extent that it is still trying to come up with the right letter and I have already moved on to the next word. Annyoying. Has anybody elese experienced this or is it just a problem with my particular handset?

the default password for samsung phones in 00000000 (that's "0" eight times)

has anybody else had problems with the predictive text?? on my samsung g600 at least once a week i got in2 my messages and it has gone off predictive text and looses all the words i store in the phone. is this a fault or is there an option ive missed to stop this??

Great phone, but seems like it's gonna be outdated as soon as samsung releases many more 5mp phones

It's not 3G... that thing in front is a light sensor and it enable and disable the light of the buttons...

My mum has the G600 and so do i. i can't change my ringtone to a mp3 song and my mum can ! :S

i got one of these phones for christmas 2007 and it kept turning off on its own and a new one arrived this morning and 2 hours later it decided that the buttons wouldnt work at all,, so a new one is coming tomorrow. has anyone else had this problem ?

Hi.....i need to activate the privacy lock option on my phone e.g putting up a password so tht no one can read my mssges. but it keeps asking me for a password...i jus bought this phone brand new and i dnt knw wat the standard password is for samsung phones. can any1 help?

When i bought it i got a 512mb card slot. 2 days later i bought a 4gb MicroSD card slot. The problem is that i cant copy/move music or images on the card, and the Samsung PC Studio isn't working either . Can this phone support a 4gb card ?

i think it is very resonably priced for the things you have on it.it does not scratch easily and it is a cool phone if your cumin 13-16 i am 17 now and i have one and its the hottest bomb on da market my opion and others are protested but dont judge it if u and seen it.Me friend emmy she iz haz a fantastic phone (so she sez) and she doesnt care about the negative parts she loves it and shes 21 she is my bffl (if curious) i am proud of my phone so DEAL WITH IT HA HA HA HA CBA ABOUT OTHERS p.s (so if it aint mp3 song for message alert jst but it on vibrate.DEEERRRRR yours

you can download some firmware update for u to be able to use mp3 as ringtones....
try this link.... it has instructions in flashing ur G600...
u should be very careful in doing this though..
