Settings> phone settings> phone profiles> options> edit> call alert type> change it from just "melody" to "vibration and melody", just "vibration" or "vibration then melody" etc etc.
And for the guy who asked "Hows the loudspeaker?"...
It's not as loud as walkman phones but louder than Nokia. But quality is excellent I have listened to Classical music on it and the crispness is as clear as crystal.

I bought the phone today. I'm still trying to get used to it. It's great phone. The camera is perfect. Don't listen to those claiming the camera sucks. I took a few pics and a video in a pool hall, where the light isn't that good, still the quality was outstanding.
I have one small problem, I don't know how to set the vibration alert. If somebody could help me and give me instructions, I'd really appreciate it.
Cheers

Richard you cannot change from the default choice of 4 preset tones for sms. It's impossible. You are lying.

Samsung why don't you integrate the card more? Why do I have to copy anything to the phone memory to use it? All other phones like Nokia can run games and set tones from memory card but oh no not you!
No changeable message tones either - big choice of 4 standard ones.
In the firmware design you just about scrape past Motorola! Get with the program please!

The key pad is very sensitive and hard to control menu because of it. It's easy to lose calls during conversation because of sensitive pad.

Richard - do you own this phone? I have followed your instructions and you cannot use an MP3 as a message tone. You can as a ringtone as you get the option to scroll through music, default melodies etc but with the message tone you do not. You can only use the preset tones - only 4 choices. Unless you are on a more up-to-date firmware. I have researched this before and I have yet to find someone who can use an mp3 song as a message tone on this phone.

is better g600 or s.e. k770 (k850 is to fat and expensive).. cut its like same price here, for 200euros can buy on black.. who has better photos k770 or g600, cuz k770 doesnt have image stabiliser and photos is quite blurry if u dont have to much stady hands.. how g600 stand with photo quality, non stady hands make much blurys photos or not, cuz it has image stabiliser..battery at least 2-3days?
