I can't believe that you can't view pictures in full screen mode: This is the main thing putting me off buying one of these!
Sure no one can get this to work?

Hi all.
Just worked it out. You can view a video in full screen by pressing the hash key after it has started.
I have encoded an episode of Planet Earth in MP4 and it really does look fantastic. I will now mess around with th settings to see about getting the best quality video. I think it will run videos at 30fps.
Still cant make photos into full screen though! :~(

i think this phone is very nice,sleek and wap is good on it. only one thing i'm not happy about is the fact that you only have four text message alerts to choose from and i hate them all :(

I love this phone! the camera is brilliant and the colours on the screen are fantastic. im just glad that samsung didnt bring it out with the u600 keypad...i cant use it properly and it reminds me too much of motorola phones, which aren't very good. this has to be my next phone on an upgrade! just gotta get t-mob to raise £170 so i can get it free! we'll see!

To watch the videos or pictures in Full screen just start the video an then press the number 1 button an you will then be able to see it on full screen,alot of people with Samsung mobiles never realise this until i tell them i had the D600 an it worked all the time

I have not had any problems with the phone freezing but I do have one major gripe!
For a phone which is all about imaging, it does not allow you to view photos OR VIDEOS in full screen if you are runing them off the memory card.
What is the point of having such a large and crisp screen if you can not use it to its full capabilities.
I planned to use it as a video Ipod but my K800 shows a bigger picture than this.
It has spoiled what I was thinking was a perfect phone :(

Yes there is software out there to change your SMS tones

Had mine 2 days a every time i try and use the camera the whole phone freezes and you have to take the battery out to get it to come back on. Anyone else have this problem?

I went to look at g600 at the Orange shop & they said you can have your own music as message tones as long as the music isn't too long. They said that there is software that you can use to shrink the size of the music so that you can use it.
I don't think Orange is better. With O2, you get 600 mins, 1000 texts which includes picture & video messages. You also get free voicemail & 1Mb of downloads free. You also get free unlimited long weekend calls or texts.
With Orange, you have to pay extra to send picture and video messages and you have to pay for the voicemail. But if you buy from Orange shop, you get £100 cashback or a nintendo ds lite on any pay monthly 18 month tariff so that is good.

Really good phone simple to use and a display i can read and ringtone i can hear. its good the way you can turn the voice volume up or down. the camera is the best. Got on an upgrade from vodafone

now ive sorted out menu really happy its lovely it does have vibrate and ring but no text tones

hi just recieved the g600 i upgraded from the u600 which i have only had for a couple of months but go mobile offered me an early upgrade so i went for it.still not sure if i like the u600 better? i dont like the fact that you cant set music for your message tone. but other than that i do like the look and feel of the phone.
can any one tell me if you can change your menu set up to the block or list view??
orange is alot better than o2 500mins and unlimited texts with added magic number. i can get you a good deal!!
