I suggest you test this hypothesis by connecting to the cellular network WITHOUT you using the internet. Then check your Galaxy A02's data transmission, i.e., the upload and download usage.
I suggest use install 2 apps to monitor and block malicious apps from siphoning your data:

I had this phone for 1.5 years now, but lately it is extremely sluggish, especially when the internet is not that great. Turning off the internet connectivity speeds up the phone like a charm ... But then again, you can not use the internet ...

It's not good. 64GB ROM, that's "huge" but that's actually garbage! Who wants a phone like that? And especially with that low specifications. "28 nm" is a huge downgrade to the smartphone models they make today. I'd say NO to buying this.

Company phone.
Using it to run mainly for Whatsapp Business.
Using 4G LTE most of the time.
A full charge can give me at least 3 days of usage.

look the phone is ok but the more things you have the laggy it becomes,i factory rest it many time and the only way to make it faster was to root it and use a govender on the cpu

phone is perfect for people on a budget and trust me when i say this IT IS NOT for gaming its for basic tiktok scrolling watching videos social media n stuff if u have 3 to 4 apps running in the background except some lag
and my opinion on this phone is if you can put some more bucks onto ur budget u have the a02s and the a03 but if u cant then get this phone and be light with it
