The only thing you need 6gig for is for a relatively few premium games that 99.9% of people will never bother playing anyway.

When are these companies, the likes of Samsung and Nokia understand that they can't compete at this segment by copying the same phones from chinese oems only with less value. They must offer something different, something like more compact affordable devices, invest in software to make it more optimised for these weak devices, anything but this nonsense.

The features are the phone are good except for the chipset snapdragon 450 is really outdated. Samsung should have used snapdragon 460 or mediatek helio g35 and should have priced the phone at around 100 dollars.150 dollars is a bit high for this phone.

Anonymous, 26 Nov 2020No smartphone in this price segment is 'True' sma... moreMy point was elsewhere - I don't mind a QC cpu in any phone - they are top of the shelf without a doubt - but...when Samsung decides to clean up the old QC stockpile of SD 450s rather than going for a decent entry level processor ( e.g G70/80) - something is just not right. The users don't need this phone when they can buy a Redmi 9 for a few dollars more. It is exactly Samsung and Qualcomm that need this phone.

It doesn't really matter they use Snapdragon or not. Plus, Snapdragon processors are less battery hungry. I know, Samsung is greedy in regard of performance. But don't expect other smartphones to last too long in this category. You should spend 150$ at least to get a good quality smartphone. I am not in favour of Samsung smartphones. What I am trynna say is that all of 100$ phones are only for communication. Fighting won't beget any superior power even if Samsung listens to us.

My question is who keeps a huge stock supply of obsolete SD 450s, If not QUALCOMM themselves! Sadly, Samsung is killing off the MTK competition, bringing no value to their customers in serving QC's purpose

I reckon you don't even know anything about phones.
The pixel 4a has 6gb ram this has 3gb.
The chipset on this thing is aboslete crap snapdragon 450 11nm while the pixel 4a has a snapdragon 730g 8nm basically it means your comaparing a peasent which is the snapdragon 450 vs a guy who has a solid making.
And don't get me started on the type of display this phone has a tft isn't even and tenth as good as an oled with HDR which is what the pixel 4a has.
So don't come here with your price and perfomance match against the 4a coz price pleazze the 4a is 350$ while this is probably going to be 120$.
PERFORMANCE!! Pls you think this can match up the 4a then your probably high or something this can't even be half the performance of the 4a
