I gave this phone a chance, but it is the absolute worst phone I've ever had. It is so frustrating and I wouldn't be posting this if I didn't feel so strongly about it. I've always had good luck with Android devices. So disappointing

I have the Asian model for about 3 years, currently on One UI 5.1. Sure, it might be a bullcrap, but it's a budget phone. I say again, "budget". Samsung has budgets, mid-ranges, high-ends and flagships. Don't buy a budget phone and expect it to work like a flagship or high-end phone.

For me it has no major problem (except the fingerprint scanner which broke in the Android 12 update but I don't care about it). It's a good phone for its price and level.

If you want a powerful and cheap phone, go buy Xiaomi. Basically every Xiaomi phone is high-speced, no matter if it's cheap or expensive. The more money you spend, the better phone you'll get.

The sound recording app of my galaxy a03s is not functioning. What can be the problem?

Paid 49$ and phone works fine. Under powered sure, but it WORKS just fine. Most everyone I know has a job, vehicle, a house, bills, a "life" and enjoy playing games. We must all be dumb compared to you tho cuz if our phones didn't even work we'd probably get a new one not complain about it because we chose to buy it and we're disappointed. You should get a refurbished note4, I had one and it was a great phone! Your a npc in life and dont deserve 2 cans with some sting tied on. Your truly-everyone

The bloat is aggravating and I've researched how to get rid of it but so far, nothing's worked. Not having any issues with thins popping up; but I keep having an app I disabled reenabling itself even though I took away its permission to make changes. More control over the stuff we bought and paid for would really be nice

I'm not expecting it to "work like a high-end phone" you idiots. I just expect it to WORK. And it doesn't do that. For a couple of hundred quid, and I've got a life so I've got other hobbies I like to spend my money on, and needing a phone, I bought this one because I thought it would WORK. But it's unreliable. Don't lecture me with your plastic shoes about "high end phones" when you probably game on it and don't have a proper job or house or vehicles. I'm a grown up. Now go do one.

I have the exact same phone running currently on Android 13, One UI Core 5. GSMArena should update the specs.

If money is a issue, buy yourself a referbished flag ship like a S20 or S21. Referbished S23's are going for less than $500 Canadian. Judging a company based on the cheapest phone they sell isn't very sensible.

This has been my first Samsung and it will be my last. Terrible piece of crap which goes nuts every day at a random time, randomly opening and turning off a bunch of stuff, which can only be stopped by locking the phone then unlocking a minute later. Samsung bloatware on it which I can't remove. And it's absolutely enormous.

By the way, my A03s (T-Mobile locked, SM-A037U) received Android 13 update with One UI 5.1 Core. On this page it says up to Android 12, One UI 4.1 Core. Maybe GSMArena should update this phone's specs.

I'm using this phone for about 2 years. It's good and enough for me. I don't know why some of you guys complaining a budget with a flagship. It is good for daily usage. But I'm looking for a new phone since it's quite old and I don't like the UI so much. I'm looking for something like Moto G04.

Can't believe this phone was released same month, same year as the Galaxy A12s (Nacho).

The Nacho which I still use up to this day is clocking 28 long month old on the 25th. It is flawless!
