The phone itself is BENT, and the screen is NOT chipped or cracked! Performance wise, its alright.

Having had the misfortune of setting many of these up, they have easily the WORST touchscreen of any phone I have ever used. With a screen protector fitted, it's difficult to do anything at all. It's kind of amazing that Samsung thought it was okay to release in this state.
Once you have fought your way through setup, with your presses constantly being misinterpreted and duplicated, you can *somewhat* improve the touchscreen by setting the "pointer speed" slider to about 70%. (Why couldn't Samsung add a normal touch sensitivity setting? Who knows!) But it's still inferior to how the A12 works out of the box, and given these phones are the same size, they should have reused the A12 touchscreen, which actually works ...

My phone as of writing this comment. It is the 2022 refresh so it looks and performs a bit different from the one in the review, but not that much. For the price, not horrible. My model is 32gb storage 3gb ram. If you are going to get this phone, don't do as I did. Get the 64gb storage because 32gb isn't enough for me and I'm looking at newer phones already. The build quality is average for an entry level device. The performance is expectedly laggy unless you optimize frequently and choose the 4gb ram plus option. Then it has performance comparable to the A1 series. The camera is good enough for me but if you're well seasoned around video equipment probably not enough for you. Now for the ratings.
Performance 3.5/10
Features 4/10
Camera 5.5/10
Value 6.5/10
Practicality 5.5/10
Overall 5/10
I recommend this phone for adults who do not care about phones. Not elderly because it will be a big headache receiving a call from grandma every 2.2 milliseconds saying "my phone is not working." Also do not recommend for teens, especially ones who are interested in tech because they will complain about lag and lack of interesting features. For elderly people I recommend an iPhone SE and for teens I recommend iPhone X or later or Samsung A34 or later/better. The phone does what is intended though.

This phone's genuinely awful. The build quality is subpar, the storage is offensively low, the camera is terrible, and it's a laggy mess from the get-go.

If your phone is working very slowly, you need to clear the cache partition through the recovery mode. It has fixed all my issues. Before my phone would take like 10 seconds to turn on after pressing the button, now its instant and everything just works faster

So looking up charging specs, the USA models typically have 7.75 Watts of charging speed. (At least according to Verizon's and Boost's A03s models) yet this spec sheet claims 15W.
Is this only for the 4GB model? Like seriously? Samsung couldn't put a few cents more expensive part in the 3GB model for 15W charging?

I hate this "phone". Restarting after you lost battery takes soooo long (at least 2 minutes) It is so slow, one time, and I am not lying, it took me over 5 minutes to open the keyboard when I wanted to text my friend something funny before we met up, but we had already met up and the stupid keyboard still hadn't opened so I just threw the stupid thing in my pocket. And I dont even need to mention how bad the camera quality is. I am telling you, whatever phone you are "upgrading" from to the A03s, it is a DOWNGRADE! This phone sucks I switched back to my old Samsung S9 in a month.

Suffering at a literal 4 fps when gaming, no gyroscope, bad camera quality, bloatwares, etc. For the same amount of money, I could've bought a phone with better quality. This phone is a huge scam.

Had this phone for just over a year, fingerprint recognition died so it was difficult to open some media apps, disabled the fingerprint access and that sorted it but don't use the built in keyboard because its slower than a ant climing a wall. Use a lighter MB keyboard available on the play store. 24.4GB is needed just for the system O/S and on a 32GB storage, your not going to be able to have many photos or videos because the phone will die. Even simple tasks take an age to appear, negative sesitivity means it'll open an app that's next to the one you have tapped on. Its an old processor so gaming is not a good experience, no 5G network conectivity and it drops more calls than an phone ever should, calling people back is a guarantee because the signal just drops. Its a cheap phone in some countries but expensive in others. Feels like an unfinished prorotype phone that was just rushed out to consumers. 64 GB should be standard but 32GB is crazy. No I would no recommend this phone unless its under $80!
