Has anyone tried the phone with maps? What was the experience? Is the gps good and not one of those that often loose gps signal midway? I will appreciate an honest response

Bought for my mum.
Camera - Okayish, but photos from front camera are really blurry.
Screen - Not sharp (Well, it is 720p), but acceptable if not look closely.
UI - Pretty great; it is clean and fluid.
Battery - Not so great; it drains pretty quick. During 1st use, battery dropped by 10% in just 1 hour.
Weight - It is lighter than what I thought it would be.
Performance - For basic/light uses e.g. phone call, Whatsapp, etc, it is OK. It is definitely not for heavy use since it has dated chip.
Overall, it is an OKAY phone. But if you expect more for small bucks, you better opt for other brands like Xiaomi.

Excited to try this as my next phone (moving on from J3 2017). Was pleasing to see that it has double the internal storage as my previous model, is Android 11, and has a micro SD slot and headphone jack just the same, which are the two most important features to me. I'm always thankful of Samsung's budget line and was surprised I could get such a recent phone at under 150 quid. Hoping this lasts me for a good two years at least, as my trusty J3 did.

its bcoz it is running OneUI Core. And the core version does not have Smart View

Hi 👋 everyone samsung A03S phone is good best performance 👏 and it have most options 😉 fingerprint and face unlock brightness features also ram is good 4gb 64gb rom I'm using now 2 month more 😀 I'm also downloading movies and also work finely speed is good no stuck best phone I recommend this

The least they couldve done to low low low end budget phones is have removable batteries otherwise, its gonna be another electronic waste after a few years.

You have to enable the command (reduce animation effect) which is in the settings menu to increase visibility. Then turn off the unlock transition effect display feature. If the fingerprint feature is always on by touching the screen but without unlocking the password or touching the power button,
then you can use the feature always detected by the user, then activate the smart lock.

I've used the 64GB ROM, 4GB RAM edition of this phone for a over a month. It's nice. However, it's lacking in the following areas:
1. The fingerprint sensor fails at least two times a day. By failing, i mean it stops responding and i'm forced to use my password instead. Some days ago, it locked me out completely and even said my password was incorrect. I had to hold down the power button and the volume-down button to force-restart the phone before it finally accepted my password. This is the biggest problem i've had with this phone.
2. It doesn't have a built-in call recorder.
3. The quick settings doesn't have a screenshot shortcut. You have to dive deep into the accessibility settings in order to setup a floating widget that will allow you to take screenshots.
4. The front camera doesn't have a flash.
I'm hopeful that the manufacturer will fix these issues in future updates of the phone's software.

From my experience, this phone is very good in every aspect of usage(I'm not into gaming). Let me appeal to those who are in the habit of shooting down phones with their uninformed contributions to pls stop. This phone feels lighter than the 196g attributed to it. The screen, sensors and network response are great. Feel free to buy one.
