      The MediaTek Helio G85 Is still a relevent processor in entry-level in 2020-2024, but it bested by a 2021-now Snapdragon 6xx or 7xx or MediaTek Helio G9x and even Dimensity 6xxx to 7xxx.

            720p display , 4 year old proccsor and emmc storage , samsung is giving so bad specs in the budget specs the chinese phones give better specs

                  The difference in RAM is quite large, around 50%

I still use a 2 year old galaxy m53 and battery life has stayed exactly the same since the day I got. It's still very quick in lighter tasks despite people complaining it didn't have snapdragon 778g and instead has a perfectly fine dimensity 900 that's more power efficiënt too. I used a52s for a bit, yeah it's a bit quicker than my m53 but battery life was atrocious, you could just watch it drain in stand by. Not everything needs a Qualcomm snapdragon cpu to be good, true words.

Snapdragon is doomed in low end phones, they offer okay performance but loses so much in battery health compared to MediaTek. Not all good phones need to be equipped with a Snapdragon 😂. A34, A15, A24, A55, A54 all offer good VFM and performance to camera balance, they're all good all-rounders and never had battery drain problems. Stop thinking that Snapdragon is the best out of anything. It's only good in gaming, but in normal use, it heats up faster than Helio and Dimensity, it also drains battery quicker.

Easy. The spec sheet previously said 90Hz but that is seemingly not the case? Anyway it’s a good upgrade, but it depends on the price whether it will be a good option or not. (Also I‘m not sure if the bezels are actually smaller, or if the reduction in width and length is just from making the sides flat instead of rounded)
