Samsung's OneUI is one of the heaviest software skins over Android.
The Helio G85 in the Galaxy A06 performs about as well as chipsets found in 2019 (5 year old) midrangers.
Now imagine trying to optimize OneUI 6.1 to run well on a 2019 midranger like the Galaxy A50. It wouldn't work that well, right?
The A06 would perform about the same as that. It will be slow on Day 1 and it will get even slower over time.
It's simply not worth spending your hard-earned money on a phone that is as slow as a turtle out of the factory.

There is... moreAnd what makes you think that this phone will recieve more than a single year of software support?
An extra year or so of updates holds very little importance when compared to having better specs, which will make your user experience much better.
There is also the alternative of buying a budget 2024 phone like the Galaxy A15 or the Redmi Note 13, which, while not having specs as good as 2021 upper midrangers, still have better specs than these entry-level phones and will recieve updates for as long if not longer.
I also want to tackle what you said about "bragging with specs". At this price point, price-performance is extremely important, so much so that the experience you'd get from the Helio G99 in the Galaxy A15 would be incomparably better than the experience you'd get with the Helio G85 in the Galaxy A06. It's not about bragging, it's about your own satisfaction.

At this price point, just buy a used upper midrange phone from 2021 or even a budget phone from last year
I can guarantee that the user experience will be much better on the older phone(s)

This phone’s chipset is Helio G85 again. I expected the chipset to be upgraded than Helio G85. Otherwise i think this phone isn’t bad at all

[deleted post]Yes, I agree, it's better made by Transsion Holding Infinix Tecno. The price after 1 year can be cheaper. Launching price it was $150, now it's only $130 with super specs!!!!

Only difference between A06 & A05 is the finger print scanner,... All other specs still in the same place

OSasmatteroffact, 13 Aug 2024Its still looks ugly and no improvement over the A05even with the fingerprint being the only difference, it makes all the sense for upgrade, especially with a phone that costs 100 eur. users must to agree that with low cost phones, one cannot expect major upgrades every time.
